What /mu thinks about eddie vedder/pearl jam?
I hate their political speech but I like their music, is a great band
>>74245386
I actually like their political speech. It's not whiny like Green Day. It fits fine with what they're evolving into. We can all agree they're better than Nirvana though.
I love Vedder's solo stuff, and PJ's folkier stuff. I really can't stand PJ's glossy arena rock stuff. Vs., No Code, and Vitalogy are all great albums, as are Vedder's ukulele album and his soundtrack for Into the Wild.
I really don't mind their political stuff, probably because it never really comes across as hamfisted or stupid. Vedder is well spoken.

>We can all agree they're better than Nirvana though.

>>74245219

Its good and interestinh until the point when you realise youre listening to trash.
>>74245219
the only band that ever boomeranged back to the quality of the original albums. they did this by not by imitating the original albums, but making a new style and sound.
anyone heard it already? what did you think?
>>74245211
/mu/ is too pleb to understand and enjoy Chelsea.
I've heard it like five times and I love it.
I love Chelsea a bit too much but I don't care.
Even if you're going to listen to the leak, at least buy the thing.
Why is this album so fucking long?
its a compilation you dolt
>>74245156
Because it's a compilation of singles
>>74245156
you're a fucking retard lmao
>>74245106
i've never used musicbee, how is it superior to itunes?
>>74245106
I use MediaMonkey to sort all my albums, but this how I will always play music.
i can't even imagine someone disliking this masterpiece
>>74245021
it's boring and i'm not an amerifag so i can't relate to this crap
>>74245021
The buildings in pic related are right next to Trump Tower Chicago, which naturally means that the album subliminally was created as part of the Trump advertising campaign. Supporting YHF is supporting fascism #notmypresident
>>74245021
>>74245040
I'm an american and this album is still boring as fuck, has no right being a "classic"

there's literally no reason to listen to music that isn't /mu/core since all the best albums are already there
Brian Wilson is a better artist than Paul McCartney.
I love post-punk, but Joy Division does nothing for me.
>>74244678
Agreed, but George Harrison is better than both.
>>74244657
this is not unpopular opinion, this is 14yo memeing, consider kys
>"Johnny Cash wrote Hurt not nine inch nails"
>pulls up google
>"well still his version is better"
>no
>>74244633
Only retarded teenagers think Nine Inch Nails is any good.
Incidentally, also retarded teenagers would think this was a good idea for a thread.
How old are you, OP? 14? 15? I'm having a hard time imagining you being older than 15.
Why is everyone butthurt about Hurt? Rusty Cage should be the one getting your jimmies in a jangle.
>"Classical is Boring"
>Anon you clearly haven't listened to much classical
>"yeah well lmao music theory limits creativity"
>ground breaking electronic music comes out every week
