What's /mu/ making today?
Whether you use Fruit Loops or Unableton, everyone is welcome to share what tunes they're creating.
Pic related, a little groove/funk track I've started today
Also, producer general (share tips, feedback and whatnot)

ITT: Music that was way ahead of it's time.
I'll start. This album literally sounds like a trip-hop album circa 2006, but it was made in 1971, before trip-hop's precursors even existed.
Those guys.
>>48394092
Bonnie & Clyde by him sounds like it could have come out any decade since. Production on that is pretty ahead of its time.
>>48394221
I'll check it out. I've been loving Histoire de Melody Nelson and want to check out some of his other work, but his discog is so massive I don't even know where to start.
in twenty, thirty, forty plus years time, what do you think people will look back at as the "classics" of the 00s/10s?
personally, i think pic related is a serious contender.
>>48386094
>>48386115
thats not a 00s/10s album though.
Everything Kanye's done so far. Yeah, even Yeezus, even if you didn't like it.

Also, I created an IRC channel, maybe it would allow a bit more activity for this barely active general: #/bleep/ on irc.rizon.net.

Music theory is for plebs who dont have the creativity/ingrained skill to create music. It teaches rigidity and takes away the beauty from the art

The feel when youre being serious and everyone thinks youre baiting
When I listen to an entire album, I find myself gravitating toward EPs instead of LPs. So many of my favorite EPs are better than the LPs they preceded. They're short and to the point.
Post favorite EPs.

>Choral, Pop, Electronic
Beautiful ep from a former church choir singer. Interesting fusion of choral arrangements, vocal layering, and electronic production.
