When I listen to an entire album, I find myself gravitating toward EPs instead of LPs. So many of my favorite EPs are better than the LPs they preceded. They're short and to the point.
Post favorite EPs.

Thanks. Went to start this thread and realized I hadn't actually uploaded the albums I intended to share.
I'll check those ones out. Props for supporting independent artists.
Active Child - Curtis Lane EP [2010]
>Choral, Pop, Electronic
Beautiful ep from a former church choir singer. Interesting fusion of choral arrangements, vocal layering, and electronic production.

Fenech Soler - Lies EP [2009]
>Dance punk, Indie pop
Really fun dance tracks from a British indie band. This ep got them tons of buzz, but I haven't heard much from them since. The alex metric remix is a good one with a nice long build.

Groundislava - Book of Tech EP [2011]
>Futurebeat, Electronic, Psychedelic
This is an early EP by my friend who produces under the name Groundislava. It's reminiscent of BMSR and Gangpol und Mit with lots of fuzz and tripping beats. Check it out

Yeah, I love this album. I just came back to it after a year or so and it still blows my mind.
Bedroom Eyes - Embrace in Stereo EP [2006]
>Swedish, Twee, Pop, Rock
Bedroom Eyes is largely a one-man project. His debut EP is a bittersweet capsule of happiness and heartache. The Swedes hopped on the twee pop bandwagon really hard for a second but they've never been very good with guitars, given the historic dominance of lounge music in Scandinavia. This is abundantly clear in the followup LP, which strays into monotonous power chords with no variety. The EP is short enough that you can throw it on on a summer day and lose yourself in it without feeling bored.

Fiendsh - Gold Pope EP [2013]
>Instrumental Hip Hop
Dont know much about the artist but this EP easily gets me grooving. Its vivid and colorful and just sweet

jj - a jj 12" [2009]
>Swedish, Chillwave, Balearic
The Swedes also fell hard for chillwave music, especially in the city of Göteborg. jj stands out as some of the best airy Balearic influenced pop. This was their debut release on Sincerely Yours. They've also released some of my favorite mixtapes on their site, which sample lots of hip-hop, r&b, and pop giants.

trying to get it now, but mediafire isn't starting the download
HI, TIGER - Hide the Drugs EP [2010]
>Fuzz, Psychedelic, Electronic, Lo-fi, Chillwave
Super fuzzed out slowed down lo-fi dance. Overwhelming walls of sound that border on grating, but are grounded by sunshiney melodies. A great summer album.

Really like it. It's super diverse. Parts of it remind me of Dan the Automator's album Bombay the Hard Way. Other parts are reminiscent of Avalanches.
Here's one more upload before I go to the bar. I'll post more if this thread's around tomorrow.
My Bloody Valentine - You Made Me Realize [1988]
>Shoegaze, Noise, Rock
Frenetic guitars ride the fine line between harsh noise and beauty. Bilinda's vocals are soft paint on the cacophonous canvas of fuzz.

one more for an anon from another thread
SPC ECO - Silver Clouds EP [2010]
>shoegaze, rock
Before you ask, it's pronounced "space echo"
Dense walls of melodic guitar and sweet female vocals provide an archetype for shoegaze music. This has become one of my favorite albums of all time.
