Did anyone catch Cosmo Dandy and Charr Dandy?

I don't know about Char and Cosmo, I'm not watching this because I didn't the first season, but...

...isn't that Haman Karn in the bottom right?
>>
>>11038218
I thought that was supposed to be Johnny Ridden. Also, didn't Cosmo Dandy's QT look a bit like a Buff Clan grunt?
>>
"In one universe, Dandy and his crew are mobile suit pilots" was pretty blatant.

That and QT imagining himself with the cannon and clamps of a Ball.

And don't forget Cobra Dandy!

Ok /m,/ as along time mechwarrior fan I was disappointed by MWO like many others. Recently though I started playing the older games and I have realized I want a new one.
The problem is I can't use the universe, So that's where you come in. I want you /m/ to draw the mechs that will appear in this game.
Doesn't matter how shitty it is I just need a front side and back view, then I will make a low poly model like pic related and get it ready to put in an actual game.

Why not take the frontal profiles of famous mecha and then take the designs in totally different directions that are unrecognisable from those silhouettes because you improvised.
>>
>>11025900
A fine suggestion, this will probably be more fun though. Cause them old battlemech designs are crazy.

And you guys said we'd never finish. Or even that we wouldn't be done by Christmas this year.

Episodes 1-8 are from the ACR set, they'll be redone at some point, probably when the Blu-Ray raws show up, or even a complete set of nicer DVD raws would work really.

Links in the next post as usual.

My god. It's beautiful. I remember seeing this project start, all those years ago, and drifting across board to board when my interest in /m/ waned (as my hobbies tend to do, I go on big benders), and now I'm back and it's done after all these years.

Great work, guys.

File: KOG.jpg (179KB, 729x1041px) Image search: [Google]
KOG.jpg
179KB, 729x1041px
In case you didn't know- KOG has two faces, male on the front, and female in the back of its head. The motif is of a fertility and thus, the unity of male and female. The male phallus, the female vagina, the sperm and ova are all represented over the designs of the KOG.

With regards to why the KOG has two faces, Nagano gives you some not-so-subtle hints in his chronology post-script. I would like to elaborate a little bit further on this and hopefully give some of you a broader vision of this series and perhaps allow you to appreciate it on a different level.

Nagano refers to gold as the eternal color... To understand that, let's take a look at its pilot, Amaterasu No Mikado, and establish some fast facts:
-he is immortal
-his name literally translates as "God Of Light"
-he has "abilities" that he himself in only starting to understand
-while the character is considered male, he is strangely devoid of any strong male characteristics.
-he can take on most any form if he chooses to, but he has three very important incarnations, namely
-Amaterasu (the father)
-Mel Rince (the goddess/holy spirit)
-Ladious Sopp (the son/child)

Essentially, Nagano is drawing parallells with some very precise (and esoteric) information regarding God. Thusly, it's only fitting that God's steed reflect some of these values, and so back to the KOG. It features both male and female sex organs as part of its motif along with a male and female face, which is just a way of saying that this "steed" comprises both the sacred masculine (yang) as well as the sacred feminine (yin.) I would also invite those of you familiar with the Golden Ratio to examine the KOG. Also, while the KOG has an interestingly "Egyptian" feel to it, particularly the earlier versions where the gold was accented with dark blue, it goes further than that. In many ways you can think of the KoG as a sort of Ark of the Covenant on two legs

Those who have "eyes" to see and "ears" to hear will understand.

That's some pretty basic DEEP shit that any 16 year old would think up for this kind of concept

I'd hardly call him a genius

Much as I like Katoki, I much prefer Takegawa when it comes to "modernizing" old designs. Takegawa just seems to have a bit more respect for the original artist's vision of the suit.

Bandai seems to be going to him lately for the whole "redraw this and make it look more modern" thing they like to do with games and MSV.

The stupid shot claw or whatever ruined the Blitz for me. It's a ridiculous sleek MS, then all of a sudden, some sort of big brick with rockets attached it hanging off its arm. What moron thought that was a good idea? It should have had something like the Deathscythe's scissors

I've been converting some of my old, out of print /m/ and general scifi books to eBooks and it got me wondering about how many folks on /m/ even have stuff like pic related. Feels like stuff is getting harder and harder to find, even with sites like Amazon and eBay around, because there's no digital versions of these. Once those print copies are gone, these books might as well not exist.

Here's my list:
-seaQuest DSV novels 1 & 2
-Independence Day: Silent Zone & War in the Desert
-Stargate movie novel, Rebellion, Retribution, and Reconnisance
-Event Horizon
-Pitch Black
-Terminator 1 & 2
-Titan A.E.
-Battlestar Galactica: The Cylon's Secret
-Project Orion (proofing copy)
-The Black Hole (the Disney movie)
-Some Aliens/Predator stuff
-Gundam Wing Technical manual (posted scans from it a while back)

If you guys want, I'll upload some stuff for you.
