The Art of War is not a self-improvement book, it's a manual on ancient generalship. If you are not using it for that purpose, or to study it as a historical document then it is pointless reading it.

I'm about 40% of the way through writing this set of novellas. I can get it done this week and have it published and edited before the end of next week, but it's agonizing.

Fuck self-imposed deadlines.

I'ts over. I haven't written anything in months. I don't know why I ever deluded myself into thinking that I could do anything. I don't enjoy it, or anything really.

I have an idea for a story and I have it outlined and ready to be drafted, but I want to move straight on to the sequel because I've given myself so much foresight into the lore of the story. I'm focusing on the sequel more than the actual piece.
