So I was set on getting a Glock 19, when the guy at the LGS pulled this one down. I wanted to do some due diligence before just going Glock. With a budget being very close to or less than 500USD, which one and why /k/?
FWIW, This is my first handgun, but I have much experience with 10mm and .380ACP. Just want a reliable all around gun for range/home/carry.

I like thoes Springfield remakes, the xd series. ~$500. I got the xd .45 first, then the xdm 9. The 9 is easier to carry, but the .45 isnt exactly difficult.

2022 is too fat to conceal. It's meant to be a duty weapon. They should also be at least $100 cheaper than a glock. I bought mine new for $350 a while back. They are good guns, the 19 still be more versatile though.

Hunters of /k/, let's say you had the option to travel back to the late-1800s/early 1900s to go hunting along the western coastal regions of North America, from Oregon all the way up to Alaska.
While you cannot use any obvious technology that would reveal your future origins (no modern fabrics, no optics, no rangefinders, etc.) you are allowed to take any bolt action rifle from modern day that would not look too out of place, along with a reasonable quantity of ammo for it.
What rifle would you pick, and what caliber? What choice of current time period sights would you opt for? What ranges would you hunt at?
Most importantly, why did you choose that particular load out?

Is it possible to mod a nerf gun to the point where its lethal? You can mod the gun to make more power and glue a tack onto the end or the dart. That means you can probably break the skin from 15 feet out. Next step would be to coat the needle in some kind of poison or AIDS blood or something. Any ideas /k/?

Okay, besides looking kind of cool and being nostalgic for some, we have to acknowledge the fact that M/81 Woodland is an outdated pattern and is bettered by many modern woodland camouflages. It's heavily saturated and appears dark almost always and is outperformed by MARPAT, AOR, and others. The meme status of this camouflage pattern on this board has risen far above Rhodesian Brush Stroke.

Not needed for that. It's a practical thing. For any kind of precision shooting or shooting anything that isn't close it's better to rest the rifle on something stable or going prone.

I suppose, but everything I use my rifles for has never really put me in a position where I would've used it. I generally just plink while standing or crouched and when I hog hunt I don't lie prone.

My options:
USP 9, $575. Comes with holster, rail, three mags and mag pouch. 500 rounds through it
P-07, $400. Comes with 2 mags and decocker. 4700 rounds through it
Sig P320, $450. Comes with one replacement frame and 2 mags. "Like new condition"
This will be a range toy mostly, and a bedside gun. I like DA/SA but don't mind striker fired.
What would you fags do?
