>The Chinese jet was never closer than 100 feet to the U.S. aircraft, but it flew with a "high rate of speed as it closed in" on the U.S. aircraft, one official said. Because of that high speed, and the fact it was flying at the same altitude as the U.S. plane, the intercept is defined as unsafe.
>The officials did not know if the U.S. plane took any evasive action to avoid the Chinese aircraft or at what point the J-10 broke away. It is also not yet clear if the U.S. will diplomatically protest the incident. Officials said the RC-135 was on a routine mission.
So, can some fag here explaim me why the US is always whining abotu 'unsafe intercepts'? Of course a fighter jet is going to be much faster and manoeuverable than a slow spy-plane.
It is not that they flew barrel rolls at 50 feet around that spy plane this time, unlike in 2014, so this intercept is actually pretty tame.
And fighter jocks around the world like to show off their skills whenever they have the chance.

Just picked up an M1A scout squad for my SHTF rifle, looking for advice on how I should molest it. Pic related, I really like the EBR set up, but I'm not sure how heavy I actually want it. I'm thinking I'll be carrying 6 20 round magazines with a ten rounder loaded to reduce weight. Anyone got anything to add? I really don't know much about scout scopes, but I am happy with the irons.

Latest defenses involved metal stakes placed in the ground at an angle as well as the fence itself. They were stopped momentarily but continued through the fence. I do believe it did quite some damage.

As much as I like bears and don't want them to get shot, a gun is a better defense than bear mace.
Most bears are very chill, and have no interest in attacking people. If they know you're around, they won't bother you.
Lots of bear attacks happen because the bear was startled by a person's sudden presence, and it attacks as a defensive reaction, then leaves once it feels the threat is over.
However, there are some problem bears, who have come to associate humans with food because idiots feed them.
Unfortunately, killing them is pretty much the only way to prevent them from attacking humans at that point.
