You are having to purchase a new slide, barrel, rsa, and magazines just to push a 230gr projectile to 1000fps

Whereas 45 Super which only requires a supported chamber standard 45 acp reamed barrel and stouter rsa will deliver a load of the same weight even faster at 1100fps

the best .50 gi load will put out is 600 ft·lb

960 Rowland is 600-800 ft·lb
and 17+1 and the ability to shoot 9mm with out changing parts

or you could get .460 Rowland and get 1000-1200+ ft·lb of energy (twice the energy as .50gi)
AND shoot .45 with out changing barrels or springs etc.

for the 45 super guy
.460 Rowland shoots a 230gr. projectiles at 1300fps

did I mention you don't have to worry about ammo availability because you can shoot 9mm and .45 through them still
