because it hydrolocks if the operator has a bottle of water nearby
>>31621054
Nah, they hit their target.
Retards who think its for the military and police.
I've seen cops and security guards with M&Ps.
Because fuck it, why not.
I own an Armscor 1911 and the extractor broke after less than 100 rounds. The tip of the claw just fucking crumbled. I've shot various 1911's including offering from Colt, Kimber, Remington and a few others. They have ALL had issues during the range session. Stove pipes, double feeds, failure to extract, etc (weirdly, a 9mm Kimber actually got completely stuck - couldn't rack the slide at all, had to call range staff for help and they took it out of service till their gunsmith could look at it.)
At the end of the day I want a gun that works. And 1911's don't seem to. I like everything else about my 1911, and I'll be keeping it because my Garand would be lonely without it. But it's a range toy, not something I'd rely on if I had any choice in the matter.
In contrast, the two times I tried a hipoint .45 that thing didn't jam and just worked, went through almost 150 rounds of reloads without a hiccup.

If I were to put a holster on my dog and put a firearm in said holster, is that legal? I'm not the one carrying the gun, so I can't be punished for it.
Right?

1: The conversation is about DPMS .308s, not DPMS AR15s. However, I extend my defense of the brand to include AR15s even though you missed the point.
2: Military testing protocol does not mean quality, it means consistency. A clapped out 10 year old US Army M4 passed all those tests and has all those features but you would never in your lifetime call it "good." I reiterate that mediocre (lack of features) does not mean the same thing as "bad." Show examples of short lived, damaged, inaccurate, keyholing, cracked lugs or otherwise "BAD" DPMS AR15s or LR308s. Especially LR308s.
>>31619866
Nigga see: >>31619576
You asked why he thought DPMS was shit and I answered. I didn't say their AR10s were bad. I said it was surprising they do so well since their AR15s are bad.
Is it me or has Surefire been overlooked in the past few years for the brighter and cheaper chinaman lights?
Carried Surefire lights for years and they're all I'll carry in the woods. Seems odd to me that so many people are opting for the chinaman lights.
>>31619760
I know right. There are people out there who don't drink black rifle coffee.
>>31619777
I've been a Surefire fan since the late 90s when they were still Surefire/Laser Products though. I like them because I can leave it in my pocket through a storm and they still work.
For day to day, the chinaman lights are good. But if you need something to not fail when your life is on the line, I trust Surefire.
Discuss ranges, innawoods locations, hunting, etc. Northampton County fag hear. Also fuck all the commie states that border us.

Fellow PA bro here. PA is the best. A friend of mine lent me a Remington .243 so I'm hunting with that this year. What should I expect? I've only ever used a 12 gauge for deer hunting. How is the recoil?

Ideally I would want to have a MP-18
Possibly moving to SC from PA soon, googling laws they seem better[Trading OC for no registration on handguns].
Anybody live in the state have anything to say about it?
Good laws only state in the us that allows you to keep a gun in your vehicle (glove box or console) without a license which is pretty cool also you are allowed to defend yourself if some asshole decides to break into your house which city are you moving to in sc?
>>31617804
All in all not bad laws nice people
>>31617804
SCfag here. Laws are good. Depending on where you are finding a public range can be a bit of a hassle. PSA is here if that is your thing.
To where would you be moving?
