Take a rifle- .308 or .30-06 should be fine. Why? Extra rifle in case there's a problem with someone else's rifle (you can lend it to them). Also, you can get familiar with carrying a rifle around on a hunt.

>>
>>31622585
I assume it's because everyone knows about the high salaries for tech workers. I don't mind high salaries but the cost of living negates that, and the social issues are terrible. I'd rather earn a California salary while living in the Northwest Territories. Sadly my family are all bog standard Canadian socialists so they'll never understand why anyone wouldn't want to move to the DPRC. I love them all the same.
>>
>>31622700
>high salaries for tech workers
Doesn't this apply to Washington as well, but without the cucked up gun laws? Not that Seattle itself is any less of a hipster neo-leftist shithole than most of California.
>>
>>31622614
As police you'll probably have to be a citizen, but that's doable. Don't be demoralized, the USA won't turn you away for being white. The customs and immigration guys are all voting for Trump because of the wall, they don't want to see a massive uncontrolled demographic shift.

Why can't you be a firefighter? You probably can't get a work visa for that initially, but once you've got your green card I bet you could get hired.

Yeah but Washington, like California, happens to have a lot of those high-paying tech jobs available. I don't think that would hold true if anon wanted to live anywhere that wasn't within a reasonable distance of a large city.

>Doesn't Washington require permits to own guns?
Washington has surprisingly liberal gun laws. And Vermont too, which, along with the beautiful mountains and largely white population, makes me want to move there. Not sure what the fuck is going wrong with Texas these days.

Washington only requires a permit to concealed carry. We have open carry laws that say you can have a gun on your hip without a permit.

Oh, and having a firearm in the passenger compartment of your car is considered concealed carrying.

I'd be worried about Washington banning high-cap mags too down the road.
>>

>Ban high cap mags
We. Would. Riot.

Also, Washington has a long history of not giving a fuck about laws. A class 3 dealer can still own and fire full auto guns here, no police question sales of firearms as long as they don't end up being used in crimes. The first illegal gun transfer after the new law was from a WASP to a citizen, on the steps of the state courthouse in Olympia on the day the bill was ratified.

The Netherlands, for one. Also Romania, Cyprus, Greece, and to some degree Belgium.

They have to have lived a certain number of years in the country and you have to be able to prove it.

Last time I tried, they refused to accept FUCKING TAX DOCUMENTS from the 80's because my father "hadn't earned enough to prove he was there the whole year". When asked how much he would've had to earn, I was told that "there is no specific amount, sir". Then they got really pissy when I said that it was completely arbitrary.

I need a leaf to help me out with your firearms laws. Im planning on going to glacier national park next summer. Mostly the US part but I would like to check out your guys part as well. I want to bring my glock to carry while hiking incase a grizzy decides to fuck my day up. Obviously cant do that in leaf land and I would just keep it in a locked box since its a restricted firearm. Upon entering I'll need to obtain an ATT. I understand that self defense is not a valid reason, but i'd really only be bringing it in since I'll have no where else to put it. Would that be a valid reason or should I just say I'm going to some shooting competition in the province at the time? Or would it be easier to just find somewhere near the border in montana to store the gun for a couple of days?
>>
>>31627507
Store the gun in the US.
Without travelling through or actually attending a competition you will not be able to posess it.
You would also need a PAL to get the ATT and pretty sure some ATF forms for when it leaves the US.

Read up buddy. I honestly wouldn't bring a gun into Canada, especially a R-gun. That would be a hassle.
>>
>>31627507
It will be much easier to store the gun in the US, especially if the barrel is at or under 105mm (4.13 inches).

You could bring a non-restricted firearm like a shotgun into Canada, check the rules below:

http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cfp-pcaf/fs-fd/visit-visite-eng.htm

Make sure you review the rules for firearms in the park.
>>
>>31627590
>>31627586
Ive been reading up my main question is if the CFO would approve my ATT if I just wanted to keep it locked in my trunk for a couple of days while im on the canadian side of the park. Wouldnt take it outside my vehicle on my canadian side. Storing it in montana sounds like the easiest option though. Would a gun store near the border do this for me?
>>
>>31627640
I'm pretty sure bringing a firearm into a national or provincial park in Canada is a big no no. I'm not sure.

"The National Parks Wildlife Regulations typically restrict the use of firearms in national parks, even though they may be 'remote wilderness areas'"

Trump absolutely ruined her. Even her twitter support mob is saying shit like "she should skip the third debate, it's demeaning hurr durr he bullied her by walking around her aggressively"

He called her out for all kinds of brutal shit, and the moderators started debating directly with Trump. It was a thrill ride the whole way through. The first 20 or so minutes were bad but it picked up and stayed good.

Trump went in there like he was about to have a fight on a playground not like an adult wanting to have a debate.

He didn't say anything meaningful about any important issue except for the prosecuting Shillary bit. He didn't answer any of the questions except for the very last one which had nothing to do with policies or resolving any issues in the country.

Hillary obviously figured out that it's much better if she just doesn't engage in his childlish rants and sit quietly while the moderators call Trump out on his bs.
>>
>>31629929
He spends a little too much time on pointing out all of her failures yes, but let's not forget she's the same person who claimed that she hit her head so hard she forgot proper procedures for handling sensitive information such as her emails and should not be prosecuted.
It's a gigantic joke and you know it.
>>
>>31629929

That's an interesting take on it. The big highlights were getting rid of the carried interest loophole that's huge for hedge fund managers, removing state line barriers that fucks healthcare customers by preventing competition, and calling out hillary for deleting 30k emails and using BleachBit after being subpoenad by congress, and pointing out that somehow her and bill had amassed $200M while working for the fed gov.

You could tell whenever he nailed her because she'd flash that phony reptilian looking grin.

The moderators aren't supposed to be interjecting into the debate (like what's her pussy did regarding broadcasting when they'd pull out of Mosul) they're supposed to ask questions and shut the fuck up

I recently took my PMR-30 t o the range and put +500 rounds through it at the same time I let about 6 people try it out, they where all amazed by the impulse and impressed by the fireball. They were all surprised that the gun did not FTF or Hick-up or Jam in Any way as that's what they had heard or seen on the internet. More money in your pocket, how is that hard to understand is a GOOD THING? On the larger scale, we're talking about more freed up capital for corporations and companies to spend and re-invest in themselves & employees, thus stimulating gdp for both future growth potential, but also immediate spending on consumer goods and services due to surplus of disposal income available (+Yd)

>tariffs on non-domestic produced goods
Lrn2macroe&micro-economics m8 - These business will not completely stop shipping their goods into the USA, which is the largest single nation consumer demand market you want want be selling to on earth (See: # of billionaires made in the USA). These companies will adapt prices and strategies in order to stay competitive (eg: H&M will still sell their clothes, Channel will still sell fragrance, etc) ton continue selling to the largest consumers on the planet.

While this government intervention in industry (quite a standard thing for them to do, & which they are already directly doing in MANY other faculties of your life btw) will allow domestic producers to take advantage of a price disparity that has been allowed to grow, which in most other countries the nations engage in this same behavior - Encouraging production and consumption of domestically sourced and produced goods in order to stimulate GDP internally, thus creating real demand and growth while KEEPING THE MONEY IN THE COUNTRY AND NOT LOSING BILLION IN NET EXPORTS ANNUALLY.

Stick to your day job, analysis of the worlds markets isn't your forte - You gotta let billionaires & trillionaires do their thing, they understand creation of money and wealth better than the plebeian masses could every hope to begin

We've had a continuous trend of lower corp. taxes and all that's happened is corps are sitting on more money. There's no incentive to reinvest if you can just keep pushing the same old shit and buy out competitors.

In fact reinvest was higher back in the day when corp tax was high because reinvestment is money you can write off. It's better to spend on your business to drop into a lower tax bracket, but if the tax is already low you're not going to give a fuck.

Then you shouldn't have looked only at local scholarships, there's ones at the national level that cover pretty much every group ever, including straight white people (just not under that specific tag, for all the idiots out there).

And not even that, a friend of mine got EI to pay for his trade school, there's education-related grants coming out the ass still since the Liberal government would have been insane to shut down that Harper program, and of course there's always a student loan or the military.

Petro-Canada was sold by the Brian Mulrooney Tories, though I'm sure you assumed it was libruls like the immigration thing.

Secondly, a lot of immigrants go on to become contributing members of society (refugees included, a Lebanese family who came here in the 70's-80's owns all the best pizza places in Halifax now), whether they start a business or go on to become a member of the labour pool.

Do the CFSC (it might only be offered in Canada, you may need to do a road trip specifically for it) and apply for the license. Since you're out of country you'll only need a letter of good standing from a local police station on top of the other requirements. Other than that there isn't anything that would affect you (Quebec has some additional stupid shit to go through for restricted license).

50 cents a round, but that depends if you are buying brass or steel, and waiting for sales and go with people that offer free shipping.
Steel-cased shit can be had for like 360/1000 rounds (before tax/shipping), even when not on sale, but you can get brass for around 500~/1000 rounds (before tax/shipping) if you wait for sales.

>>31636045
Nope, I'm fully aware of what went down. I don't like conservatives, they're near useless at fighting the left and constantly try the same terrible ideas that nobody even wants while diverting money to their friends.

I like the (christian) Lebanese. They're decent people and they work hard. That's only half the equation, because I also like living in a white country and don't want to give that up. If all you care about is building a big labour pool then go to the USA. Their prison labour pool is bigger than our entire working population. I honestly don't care if our population shrinks a bit, we don't need to endlessly sprawl across the land and turn this beautiful land into one massive city full of "world citizens".

The counterexample to the lebs are the Somalis, who are still number one in both drive by shootings. Our immigration system, especially the "refugee" part can't discriminate against those who will fail in our society and those who will succeed.

>>31636421
It was generating money for us and holding its own against foreign competition. Now our whole industry is foreign run. If we're going to have a government at all I want one that makes life better. Same deal. The firearms act specifically says rimfires are not subject to the magazine capacity limit.
It completely contradicts the FIREARMS ACT. The police don't make the laws, they enforce them. There should be no legal way for them to prosecute someone for the rimfire magazines.

Had a real interesting thought on armor.

In certain provinces, PALs are required when purchasing armor.

If you allow your PAL to expire for more than 6 months and you still possess firearms, that's illegal.

But what if you own literally zero firearms, but plenty of armor? What would happen if your PAL expires for more than 6 months?
>>
>>31640520

>>
>>31641014
Probably nothing, same as your NR firearms.
>>
>>31641014
the pal is just required to purchase, not possess

it's just to make it hard for gangsters to legally buy armor

i'm sure it was entirely futile
>>
>>31641027
Which is why I said I'd only consider it if he gave me another. Asked him to keep an eye out if any of the old farts he knows is giving away a FAL or AK or something. We'll see.

Posession is literally the first letter in the acronym.

Possession and
Acquisition
Licence
>>
>>31641154
Possesion of FIREARMS.
The laws on body armour tend to state you need a purchase permit or a firearms license to buy, not to posses.
