Am I seriously the only one who is sick of this shit?
It's 2017 and it's not getting any better!
>>32980106
>scopes can only aim directly straight and can't be adjusted at all
Could you elaborate on what you are sick of? HoB is only an issue if you're a poorfag who doesn't shoot often enough to know where to hold or how to zero.
>>32980128
>>32980153
what if, and stay with me here, we just made a scope, thats also a gun?
>2017
>Not using a scythe that is also a gun
There is no valid excuse for this.
>>32980091
I'm not an edgy weeb.
Cannot fathom how people find this RWBY shit watchable. Even if the setting wasnt cringey anime garbage, the visuals are janky as fuck shit that looks like it was done in SFM.
>>32980091
What happened to Trump making anime real?
And I like it a lot. Fight me.
>>32980072
Good for you. I hope it serves you well.
>>32980072
It's alright if you're a poorfag.
It's:
>ugly and uncomfortable
>clunky, bulky and heavy
>low capacity
But on the other hand, it's:
>near indestructible
>shoots quite straight
>runs reliably
>is drop-safe, and has a working safety (more than you can say for a Ring Of Fire gun)
>+P rated
>has a warranty that covers literally everything for free (as in you can bandsaw it and they'll replace it for no cost)
Only big issue is that sometimes the magazines aren't quite in spec, but if that happens you can tweak the feedlips with a pair of pliers and after that they should stay in spec. Their carbines are their best products.
However, if you can afford better, you have little reason to stick with this one.
>>32980072
I would but you have a gun.
OK /k/, next week I can finally carry concealed. Any tips for a newfag?
Don't shoot yourself in the dick.
>>32979901
Golden rule #1
I got a pt111 g2 for my first carry last week. Holster will be in soon. How fucked am I /k/?
>leaving for your grandma's funeral
>*blocks your path*
>"HEY SOLDIER BOY READY TO DO SOME SHOOTING?"
What do, /k/?
>>32979841
Shoot myself since I signed up for it.
It simply amazes me that people actually take this guy seriously. Not only are his reviews about twice as long as they need to be, not only is he a literal autist that accosts random strangers in the street shouting GEAR CHECK GEAR CHECK like a shrieking yard-ape, not only is he a piece of shit based on how he treats his kids, but he unironically expects others to follow his example.
>>32979841
I guess suck his chode because that's what he really wants.
Seriously, nutnfancy must be unbearable to hang out with. You want to do some fun shooting and he's constantly trying to live out some sort of operator fantasy because he apparently wasn't satisfied with being an air force pilot.
5.45x39mm is literally the greatest intermediate cartridge ever devised
Yep
>>32979743
I dunno about that, but I definitely like it.
Wish there were more 5.45 rifles available stateside.
>>32979784
Is that Krink yours? What was it built off of?
>be Russian, 1971
>need lighter machine gun
>develop lighter machine gun
>be Russian, 1998
>need lighter machine gun
>develop lighter machine gun
>be American, 1943-to present
>need lighter machine gun
>try and build lighter machine gun
>fail 10+ times
>>32979247
Bad bait.
Browning M2 is a heavy machinegun.
If we want a light machinegun we use the damn Minimi. Because that's what that's for.
There's a reason we still use Ma Deuce, because we legitimately can't build anything better. That's a victory for the original design and not a failure on anyone else.
>>32979260
well they did upgrade it to use a quick(er) change barrel system.
>>32979247
>Be America
>MACHINE GUN IS FINE
Also it didn't help the Russians that the NAV plant wasn't actually located in post-soviet russia. It was as much a 'hey, we can't get guns the way we used to' as 'we should build something better.'

6b47 is very nice for the price
>>32979040
I have a mich2000 but I really want to get a comm cut, so idk might consider selling it. But im like fuck its a nice problem to have a helmet laying around
Thinking of ditching my ruck sack for an osprey day hiking pack as my camping/shtf/innawoods bag. The ruck is good for my longer adventures, but Im moving toward the low profile, less is more mentality.
A Dindu on facebook is supposedly wanting to sell me an AK-74 for $400
At that price I'm worried about getting jumped and knowing Dindus it wouldn't matter if it were a public place or not.
Should I go through with it?

Is it legal, seagull?

bump for interest
There was already a Last Stand thread, so i figured a Final Moments would be nice as well.
>Your weapon clicks empty, you come to your senses as your barrel smokes, the slain lay all around you.
>A single shot rings out, you get hit in the shoulder and struggle to keep your balance. The first is quickly followed by a second, hitting your thigh now, you drop to your knees.
>A third hits you. There was no sounds, no feeling. You turn to the skies.
>Closing your eyes, you can see your family members, friends, your wife. A smile brightens your face.
>The last shot hits, you fall back.
Finally, you can rest.

Unpopular opinions thread. I'll start.
Air-soft is good combat training.
makarovs are absolute dog shit
>>32975632
Can you elaborate on you reasoning as to why?
I would agree that the Makarov doesn't hold up to current service pistols, but I think it's a fine pistol when you keep in mind its context.
There was nothing wrong with the Mosin-Nagant M91/30. It wasn't a notable rifle in any way, but it was usable enough for Tzarist and later Soviet doctrine.
Any of you anons think there's any still out there? Could it be possible if you parted one together by buying individual parts?
>>32975294
went to a gun show this weekend. Only saw 400 and up

Bows or Guns? Why can't we used both in Modern Times?
>>32974617
Bows if you want years of hardwork to pay off. Guns if you want to be that one dumbass in the backyard shooting cans
I know a dude who hunts with a bow. Seems pretty tight.
