What is /k/'s thoughts on this game and is it worth?
https://www.escapefromtarkov.com/preorder-page
I want to believe but I've been burned in the past on pre-ordering pre-alpha pre-beta early access bullshit and refuse to pay until the game's officially released.
I cant tell what this game is going to be like from a mile away:
Something that looks like an ocean of content miles long and wide, but only inches deep.
Spawn, kill/die, escape, buy gear, repeat.
Mediocre and boring, wouldn't be bad if it's like 15 bucks.

i don't have commie combat fantasies so it is not something i would enjoy.
Was klendathu a tactical mistake on part of the federation?
no it was an intelligence failure
had they captured kledathu then the bugs would have been finished
>>32973591
>drop all forces at once without proper recon and air support to fight a vastly numerically superior enemy on their own turf without the benefit of carpet bombing, ground armor, or orbital bombardment
It was a clusterfuck of insane proportions. They underestimated the bug and millions died as a result.
>>32973746
didn't the last bits of the movie they showed actually using carpet bombing the bugs?
what projects are you currently working on anons?

Building a semi 16" bbl PPSH41 because a pps43 is a scary assault weapon in NY. Just lost a gunbroker auction tonight for a one-slice saw cut receiver that would've made the build a fuck ton easier, I'm pretty pissed about that but those sell for waaaaaaay overpriced amounts anytime they go up on GB. Fuck, what doesn't?
Damn dude, I've never even seen a WA 2000 kit anywhere. I wish I had the green to blow on an mp-40 kit but those always go 2-4 grand. Really want to work on an mg-42 too and apex has those parts sets with a barrel for like $530 or something right now IIRC. I need to jump on that before they sell out. I'd probably build it in .308 and only use the 8mm parts every now and then. What're you working on OP? (Besides being undercover ATF trying to find a reason to shoot my dog)

>tfw too poor to buy a Walther WA2000 partskit
Why would you even do this?
Bought a Savage 111 in .308 today. The first one the guy gave me to finger was a left handed model, and I felt like I was holding a cute puppy no one else was paying attention to at a shelter (I'm left handed). I want to go to the range next weekend and get it zeroed in cause I know no one with land in this state. I'd really like to make this a distance shooter, so the next likely steps are bedding it and getting decent glass.

Out of curiosity; is it really that difficult to build a gun from scratch? People in the Philippines and other shithole lands make it seem pretty easy. Theres blue prints everywhere. This is just strict curiosity because I saw this in a documentaries of some pinoys making a pistol from a piece of a ship.

Found mine. I'm also mad about them discontinuing everything related to it. Had to buy an aftermarket diopter that's fused to the rail.

I haven't had mine terribly long, but seems good enough quality to me. My buddy has had his for years with no problems.

>A German arms producer has refused to deliver key components for a new US grenade launcher, citing an 1868 convention prohibiting grenades being fired straight at a person. The German company is now facing penalties.
>Mass production of the US, state-of-the-art, shoulder-fired grenade launcher XM25 has stalled since German company Heckler & Koch (H&K) has refused to deliver a key detail, fearing the weapon would hit people directly in violation of the 19th century international treaty, DPA reported.
>Heckler & Koch is referring to 1868 St Petersburg international law convention that says grenades can’t be fired directly at a person. According to the document, grenades may be thrown at a building or near a person, but not straight at them.
If you still support H&K, fuck you Kochsucker!

>>32963374
hey OP, your hatred is showing again.
On one hand, this doesn't make sense because literally the whole point of the XM25 is that it detonates over the targets heads, not by direct impact. On the other hand, you seem to be taking this personally OP, try not to be so weirdly bitter about not being able to afford nice things..
>>32963374
Just what are these super important parts that they have to be made by H&K?
