Anyone have Mackie CR3 or CR4s? Are they a good upgrade from typical 2.1 PC speakers for everyday use, movies, and gaming?
I'm torn between these or the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 or Logitech Z623s
I'm no audiophile but I would like to try out something a cut above standard 2.1 or 2.0 PC speakers. Something $150 or less is the desired price range.
I've also seen people recommend Dayton/Micca bookshelf speakers paired up with a cheap amp (Lepai)
I can always buy a powered sub later if I want more bass.
klipsche promedia's are 119 at best buy right now, go get them and if you don't like them take them back.
mine are fine for what i need.
If you're looking for a good pair of desktop speakers, the choice should be between the JBL lsr305, the Yamaha HS5 or the Tannoy Reveal 502.
>>55161979
I've been really close to pulling the trigger on the Klipsch ProMedias but I'm curious of the "super clear and crisp" sound of bookshelf/monitor speakers.
>>55162034
Just over my price range and it seems that's just for one speaker a pop. RIP my budget. Maybe someday
It seems there's a gap. Where if you don't have 300+ to spend it really doesn't matter what you get since the quality will be relatively poor anyway.
is it possible to keep kindle books on a sdcard in an android phone, assuming you're not just moving kindle to the sdcard (which isn't even possible now on android 6+)? i have a lot of books but it doesn't make sense to me that they have to be stored on the cellphone's storage. yet i see no option to keep the books on the sdcard
for some reason google only brings up cancerous results too, with either linking to the amazon android products or people with no idea how to operate a computer talking about their reading habits
any reason why it has to be kindle?
>>55161805
i bought ebooks from the amazon store and afaik you can only read them on kindle. is there a good pdf reader for android though?

So, Mozilla was right, that after making the browser work and look like Chrome, people are coming back again.
Let's face it, ricing is dead, privacy and security features are the future.
This comment is only the beginning of Mozilla's rise from the dead! It is the first step to finally beating Chrome.
Welcome back!

So what's different from chrome? The logo?
>>55161437
Wow it's fucking nothing.
You could do this for over a decade ago with any browser than supported standalone/portable installations.
I like Opera's version of Chrome best
Look how fucking elegant it is

Why are you downloading Windows by torrent instead of directly from Microsoft?
>>55161523
Maybe speeds are faster by torrent for him. Really doesn't matter as long as the SHA1 MS provides matches.
Anyone ever used overwolf? I wanted to test and review it... however when I open a game the dash does not show.... it does show when I open the game through overwolf, the problem with that is it does not find all of your installed game, and does not give you the option to manually insert the games. Wtf? I'm a software junkie. Like finding new things. Hate when they don't work...

If I wasn't on a verizon family plan, I would be using one of these.
Although I do have to wonder, do dumphones nowadays come with anything akin to GPS or Google maps? That's one of the main features I like to have on a smartphone when I do any sort of travel.
>>55161199

The free wifi at the coffee shop I sometimes work at has a router with 'admin' as the login and password. What could I potentially do and what software would I need to do it?
>>55160721

Well, you could always kys. Don't need to be at the coffee shop to do that, either.
