I feel like the main contributors to these AMD vs. Intel and Nvidia vs. AMD threads are poorfags that feel like they have the best hardware if they shill for it. People with good shit would actually be doing something productive or otherwise entertaining with it.

>staff occasionally read these generals and have posted here before
>staff may pretend to be normal users asking for invites and when you invite them, they ban you for inviting strangers
>sneaky bastards will try to convince you into believing that cheating can be evaded, it can't and you will be banned with those bastards laughing at you
>people may report emails and other personal info posted here to staff to get you banned

Say goodbye to opening multiple tabs at once with multi-process firefox and ANY ad blocker.

If you load more than 10 tabs at once then e10s will be much slower than non-e10s if you have adblocker installed. And by "much slower" I mean from 60% to 1800% slower.

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1192585#c17

So what future awaits you, with ads or without Danbooru?

This is really concerning besides that point. e10s might be more stable but slowing your browser down this much is not a good thing.

IRC: #/tpg/ on irc.rizon.net

Other business laptops are also welcome in /tpg/ (e.g. Dell Latitude/Precision, HP EliteBook/ZBook).
----
If you're looking for purchase advice, READ THE BUYERS GUIDE FIRST. Then post, stating budget and requirements (e.g. size and performance).
Don't buy anything OTHER THAN T, X AND W/P SERIES if you want the Real ThinkPad Experienceâ„¢

Recommended models:
T420 - 14", normal size
X220 - 12.5", ultraportable
----
Why ThinkPad? (also applies to other business laptops)
>Used machines are plentiful and cheap.
>Excellent keyboards - tactile feel and quiet.
>Great durability: chassis uses a magnesium rollcage for structural integrity, with high quality plastic body panels.
>Utilitarian design: e.g. indicator LEDs, 7 row keyboard layout on older models.
>Docking stations that easily turns your laptop into a desktop.
>Easy to repair, upgrade and maintain thanks to readily available service manuals for every model. Spare parts are easy and cheap to obtain.
>The best trackpoint (that red thing in the middle of the keyboard). Great for those who type a lot or hate swiping their fingers all over a touchpad.
>Excellent GNU/Linux & *BSD support.

I bought a Speedmaster a month ago. I love it so far. It's legible, not too thick, classy and sporty at the same time. Also keeps time fairly well.

Will probably sell my other two watches.

The Citizen has served me so well through the years , but it's too god damn big.

The Speedmaster is not small, but at least it doesn't feel or look big.
