Starting this thread from home so bumps are SUPER APPRECIATED!!!
Well that's gotta be a kick in the dick for Spock.
>>90957074
This is a great cover
Interesting way to look at things. He's still a variation of Peter though. Not the other way around. His life is really kinda meaningless.
>>90957563
The art in this entire series has been spectacular. Shame Slott's writing drags it down
Oh Peter....why couldn't you have just kept your mouth shut?
Technically this is a spoiler because this is going to be revealed in Scarlet Spiders 3. Don't blame me, blame the stupid checklist at the back of the books.
Really? Just...really?
Having Spock be the one to give the rousing speech is insulting on so many levels.
This dialog is atrocious. Slott would of have been better off with Wallopin' Web-Snappers.
>>90957893
>>90957911
I remember the second I saw those two pages I knew it was in the top 5 most anticlimactic moments of Slott's run
>Solus doesn't throw a single punch
>Morlun kills Other!Kaine by simple impalement
>>90958321
I would argue this was probably the biggest asspull Slott's done up till this point.
>>90958608
Ben literally didn't need to suicide
He could've stood on a separate building and flung the bullet with a webline

NO LOGIC HERE!
Thank god for David making miracles out of mud pies. I'm thinking I might storytime David's X-Factor series at some point
Ouch
And now we're back to the main event!
Such a cool look is wasted in such a stupid story.
Absolutely nothing on this page was "well said".
Hamboozled. Ha
I think I like where this is going.
He's fineeeeeeeeee
This page is an absolute fucking travesty. Morlun is a pale imitation of his former self.
JUST FUCK ALREADY!!!!!!!!
Peeps reading?

> I have never needed rescuing
Like that time you were rescued in the AoU FCBD prelude?
You actually call him Superior? God dammit, Peter.
>This the only way you can best me? By outnumbering me?!
>Says the founder of the Sinister Six.
Slott has the largest range in quality that I have ever seen in comic book writing
I hate time travel.
HA!!!!
>Not to worry.
>Remember, Spider-Girl...
>...we also have a lot of amazing friends!
UGGGGGGG!!!!!!
Thank god he's still alive. Slott would truly be an irredeemable piece of garbage if he went through with it.
And thus concludes Spider-Verse! Now back to the standard issues sans tie ins (just the way I like them).
>>90960997
Well that was a weak ending.
Liz is an absolute milf.
Pete and Liz. Make it happen Slott.
>>90962185
You said it
I know he's predominately an Iron Man villain but Slott actually has me a little bit excited.
Probably the most tolerable Felicia has been in a while. This isn't saying much though.
>>90962264
I remember people being really disappointed in this reveal. I think Ghost had almost no screen time between this and his last appearance on Parkerbolts (~Novemberish 2012)
COmpletely unrelated note from the Slott thread, has anyone by chance happen to have read the series The Unwritten?
>>90962459
He was one of the standouts in Parkerbolts. Diggle did some great work with him as well.
>>90959024
Indeed not
>>90960846
>patch him up with future tech
That's not what happened in the motherfucking tie-in, Slott!
Lowe, do your job at least once
How much involvement did Yost have with Spider-Verse? That event got a lot of mileage out of Kaine's Other, which feels cheap after Scarlet Spider barely got to explore that aspect.
>>90963273
I going to assume very little judging by the state of these issues.
ANd now we get to end this thread on a high note. Onward to David's 2099!!!
Every chance David gets to write Maestro is A-Okay in my book
Miguel is hilarious
Wonder how it feels to know everything you've been doing accomplished nothing? Probably pretty shitty
This is some Ennis territory is what this is
HOLY SHIT IT'S STRANGE!!!! DAVID YOU MADMAN! Now all she has to do is call him S-Man and I'm set.
back to first page.

I was looking at the sales charts and noticed the book started sliding somewhat after this with an inexplicable bump for #17 (could be because of the Hastings variant; Hastings used to be one of the biggest buyers of monthly comics till it closed down last year) but still continued downward until the post-SW relaunch.

http://www.comicsbeat.com/marvel-month-to-month-sales-charts-december-2016-strange-behaviors/
And then after the SW relaunch it kept going down and #16 only got a spike because of the Funko subscription box variant.
I think Spider-Verse might've been the last straw for some people.

Can't stop. Won't stop.
>>90962461
>The Unwritten
I've read the first 12 or so issues. It's fiction about fiction. Interesting stuff.
But you should know anyway, that anything by Mike Carey is generally great.
>>90961534
Uh you just told the name of Anna Maria, Peter....
