I mean, I saw him. That's how I knew to go back and look at the other page, because I was positive I'd seen baseball cap dude before. The whole ending of that last issue is nonsense. There's some weird buildup about secret ninja powers and it ends with Daredevil asking who this secret dude is -- and then we role into this issue where he knows he's Lawrence and definitely doesn't have secret ninja powers.

It's a cliffhanger for the sake of itself.

A few storytimes ago he had Ulrich talking to a mysterious figure about all the developments in Matt's life during the year that Bendis skipped, including meeting and dating Millia.
