I hope that everyone has been having a good day. I'm leaving the office super late because I held office hours between 6-8 and peeps definitely took me up on it.
Thanks OP! I hadn't kept up with the series a little around the time Walker got powers back. This is my first time reading a lot of these issues.
Alright let's keep sucking Bendis cock!
Mmmmm, I sure do love some nice cock between my ass cheeks!
I usually go for black men, but I sure would love me some of that BENDIS meat!
I have made a good amount of change kidnapping midgets and training them to be prize fighters. Everytime they win i let them fuck my sister as a reward. My sister is basically my slave at this point and i tell her to make the midgets fall in love with her and she lies to them telling them she loves them and she will help them escape if they can survive another match. Eventually the midgets start succumbing to their battle wounds. I will either have my boys bet against them or i will sell the midget off to a local midget fetishist who will fuck the little guy in the ass till he dies.
You would be surprised how big midget fighting/fucking is here in Romania.
Why so mean bro? I do appreciate you posting images though.
What I would give to kidnap a famous midget and make his life a living hell. I would force him to dress up in elf and leprechaun outfits and subject him to pure awfulness and humiliation. just terrible degradation and shameful acts. it would be so easy to break his spirit and drive him to suicide, but I wouldn't let him do it. if I could train a dog to rape on command then I would totally do that as well. a really big dog like a mastiff. he would be so completely and utterly powerless to stop it, not to mention terrified. a big ass dog is even scary and life-threatening to a normal human but to a midget? might as well be a dragon. I'd keep him in a cell and what's more is that I would actually place to key inside with him but put it in a high place. not extremely high but just ever so slightly out of reach. it would drive him mad. I would dress him like a baby and force feed him 99 cent store baby food. I'd also pick him up like a child and toss him from one corner to the next. I'd grab him by one leg and swing him as hard and as fast as I could then hurl him to see how far he goes. I'd rent one of those giant inflatable bounce houses and body slam him all day until my arms got tired. I'd hold him down with 1 hand and slowly stick things up his butt just to see him squirm. I would stick him in dryers and turn them on and leave him in there for long periods of time. I'd force him to fight other midgets to the death. just so many things I would do.

Dude, can you quit posting images? Kinda making posting difficult?
If I managed to upload the POwers TV show to mega or something like that, would people give it a look or is Bendis' name so tainted at this point that I shouldn't bother?

The details of my life are quite inconsequential ... Very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low-grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a 15-year-old French prostitute named Chloé with webbed feet. My father would womanize; he would drink; he would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes, he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament ... My childhood was typical: summers in Rangoon ... luge lessons ... In the spring, we'd make meat helmets ... When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds — pretty standard, really. At the age of 12, I received my first scribe. At the age of 14, a Zoroastrian named Vilmer ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum — it's breathtaking ... I suggest you try It.

Nice change up, wasn't expecting that
>>90093282
Neither was I. I had no idea drainer technology could be so compact. It's amazing. I'm going to try and use something like this in my comic. An extremely temporary power dampener is a great tool
>>90091348
>Underground midget cock fighting
Is this dude OK?
>>90093799
I think he'll be okay. He seems like he's got a good head on his shoulders, he just misguided.
>>90093799
It's another anon shitposting, pretending to be the OP.
>>90093861
That last panel makes me sad.
These next upcoming pages I think are really really well done.
>>90092149
That's a battlefield cross. The image is based on a famous WW2 picture.
I would post it, but I don't think I'm supposted to while the shits still running.
http://www.nationalww2museum.org/media/dday-anniversary
>>90094335
Yeah I know, I just feel like I've seen that particular kind of set-up before: the battlefield cross, the rain, the helmet getting soaked in something (in this case blood, I think the original was just water, if there is an original that is)
>>90094076
did OP die?
>>90094408
So sorry. Not dead
>>90092924
I'm felling like he's trying to channel a little frank miller and Mignola with this page.
>>90094498
i love billy, he's the real deal
>>90094531
Masterful art by Oeming right there.
>>90094740
Being Walker is suffering.
This is tragic.
Totally getting an Angel vibe from this. I like it.
This is an interesting development.
This issue is a straight up punch to the gut.
Don't know how I feel about this.
Enki, quit being a bitch.
I feel she's now going to be even more insufferable.
>>90095658
>>90095677
These are cool pages.
I feel Oeming is completely at home drawing Superhero Gods and other such creatures. Dude wrote Ares
Christian's intuition is rarely wrong.
>>90094515
I'm getting some extreme Mignola influences from this page. Half expecting Hellboy to walk on by just for a quick cameo
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Oh nooooooooooooo

I hope everyone has been enjoying these Powers threads. I know I have. This series has reconfirmed that Bendis is a writer worth being influenced by. Currently, these are primary writers I'm trying to incorporate into my own writing style.
-Mark Millar
>Specifically his approach towards widescreen comics that definitely emphasizes the art front and center to tell a story. The 2x4 grid used in Authority is something I carried into my work.
>Millar has a "bite" to his dialog as well as a rhythum that is very simple and effective. In most cases he limits himself to just a comment and a response with sparing uses of third exchanges.
-Joe Casey
>Casey is an extraordinarily creative writer both in terms of otherwordly concepts he can bring to stories (Superman Adventures), he also manages to incorporate Superhero themes into contexts otherwise devoid of the fantastic. In Nixon's Pals he applied capes to the judicial system. In Wildcats he applied it to Corporations and the importance of cultural transmission through symbols and branding of concepts (this especially I want to incoprorate)
>His dialog is a bit wonky but the characterization and heart is unmistakable.
-Brian Michael Bendis
>Definitely not the primary influence, Bendis offers a sense of style in his dialog that can fluctuate between grating and lyrical at times.
>He has an incredible eye for story and big concepts and has a tendency to write his villains better than his heroes (like Geoff Johns).
-Al Ewing
>Definitely a newer writer that I'm still getting accustomed to. He's demonstrated that he can work within a variety contexts demonstrating a versatility few other writers can. He also has a flair for characterization and entertaining dialog which pairs well with his stories that range from intimately personal to otherworldly cosmic horror with Shuma Gorath or battling iindescriable concepts in his Ultimates series. I feel like he's a modern Kurt Busiek.
Enki...can you seriously quit being a cunt for like two seconds?
OH SHIT!
And I think this is a fantastic place to end this thread (also the next issue won't fit). As I said earlier, I hope everyone is enjoying these threads. AT the rate we're going we a definitely going to finish this week.
UPCOMING STORY OPTIONS!
1. Slott's Spider-Man Epic - Currently this appears to be the most popular option.
>I'd start with Big Time - Issue 700.
>Then I'd transition to Superior SPider-Man.
>Then Amazing SPider-Man Vol. 2 followed up by Spider-Verse
>Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 3 would then directly lead to Clone Conspiracy and that is where I'd call it.
2. Thunderbolts - Dark Avengers Vol. 1-2
>This is something I'm willing to do but it's going to take some time to gather. Guess I gotta new project.
3. Casanova by Matt Fraction
4. Hellboy Vol. 1-12
5. Hitman by Ennis
6. Thief of Thieves
7. Marvel Knights: Spider-Man by Millar
What's Casanova?
>>90096858
It's a series that is the definition of style over substance. Think cosmic James Bond that constantly jumps settings and themes every 4 or so issue. It constantly keeps you guessing. The art is absolutely gorgeous
>>90096927
Cool.
If there's enough of a request for it, I'll post it inbetween this and slott's Spider-Man epic
Bump for Powers! Also the TV show bloooooooowwwwwwwwwssssssss
