Also the lettering in some of these early volumes blows. Probably one of the few "indie" titles that actually feels indie. Bendis and Oeming apparently were pulling all nighters to get this stuff finished. Glad to see they stuck with it.

I'm not sure how many of you watched the Powers TV show, but the second season was leaps and bounds above the first and actually separated itself from other cape shows at the time. Starting this series with the murder of a Supes is cool, but Janice's death in the TV series felt much more powerful and overall devastating on Christian
