Also, the next storytime I'm going to do is Powers by Bendis from the first volume through the end of Powers: The Bureau. Fair warning, Powers is Bendis at his absolute best as well as his worst. It's "his" book and I always liking seeing writers work with their own toys.

Much as I loathe this book, it's incredibly compelling. I am really frustrated with the fact that Ennis simply doesn't care about his female characters except as part of the male characters. I do like the idea that men without women are just boys - I think it's a very solid, true counter to the obsession with anti-heteronormative monogamy, but I don't think it needed as much shit to state it.
