my body is ready
it'll be interesting since i know nothing of this beyond the 80s anime
You guys always cite that the best books from both houses are from the 60s-70s. So, what are the best books of theirs from 2000-2010? Curious to hear your opinions on that.
For me? Probably Morrison's Batman and Robin for DC if that counts. Marvel is harder...my favorite is probably Ellis' Thunderbolts.
>>77586159
Uncanny X Force
Morrison Batman
Hickman FF
52
Ennis Punisher Max
Marvel:
Ellis on Thunderbolts
Hickman on Secret Warriors
Brubaker on Captain America
Marvel Cosmic stuff
Bendis on Daredevil
Garth Ennis on Punisher MAX
Matt Fraction/Brubaker on Iron Fist
DC:
Gotham Central
Geoff Johns on JSA
Geoff Johns on Green Lantern
Seven Soldiers of Victory
Paul Dini on Detective Comics
Gail Simone on Secret Six (back when she was good)
Grant Morrison on Batman
Why does Billy West hate John K so much?
>>77586070
Because he had to work with him.
Because that's what a reasonable person would do
>>LeBro
Bought the first few issues a few months back but haven't read any.
It good?
You have the issues, fucking read them, you useless faggot. Fuck, I really hate people like you.
Just read it, anon.
>>77586067
Yeah, they're pretty good but if you already have them then you should read them and decide for yourself.
Would Billy D. Williams have made a good TwoFace?
has he ever played a character who wasn't just a cool smooth guy?
No. Two Face isn't black.

Remember Longhair and Doubledome?
There's a Kickstarter to make a third one now
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/259218198/gavrilo-gnatovichs-longhair-and-doubledome-episode
>With my experience and knowledge of traditional 2d animation, underused animation techniques and years producing animation, I plan to innovate a 2d style and production model that can be more cost effective, and create a different 2d language.
Sounds like that's the part Gnatovich is most ambitious about, and it's the most interesting aspect for me. If he hopes to shake up current animation trends through this indie project, more power to him.
>>77585634
I remember this and the art direction still holds up.
He's pretty ballsy to ask for 175k considering his "literally who" status but damn I hope he makes it.
>>77585634
I literally re-watched this alongside prickles today
I admire what he aims for and wish him the best of luck
More like Gay-rrific.
Its weird that he's gay, I think he has more chemistry with Felicity than Ollie
>>77585252
meh I don't really care that he's gay, I mean it's not like they are pushing it down anyone's throat and he seems like a fine character so far.
Don't know how good his superhero persona will be once he becomes Mr Terrific, but I will give it a chance
>Make him a high pitched panicky gay guy instead of a hard ass Graham Chapman gay guy.
Fucking assholes don't know how Mr. Terrific is suppose to be.
>My printer says I need toner. ....Are you Toner?
Watchdogs are the best.

I gotta admit that 99% of the time I will actually laugh at all of Lord Hater's lines. I tend to smile through the episodes anyway, or snort at what Wonder says, but full on chuckle if Hater opens his mouth.
>>77584899
>Wonder
It's Wander.
How does /co/ feel about Erik Larsen? I feel he's the least talked about of the Image Founders, and out of all of them he's still writing/drawing the book he started with.
>>77584846
>I feel he's the least talked about of the Image Founders
No that would be Jim Valentino
I like Larson, he's just a guy doing what he loves. He went to Image because he had a character he had created and refined since childhood and he finally had a chance to bring him to readers. I really respect that he's still at it.
>>77584846
People seem to have nothing but respect for the guy, even if he's probably the least interesting of the Image founders personality wise.
His Defenders run with Busiek is supposed to be awesome, but I've never read it.
I like him but he got some haters on tumblr and CBR after his Ms Marvel comments

Was refreshing the catalogue waiting for someone to start the thread.
This place is like drugs to me.
Who wants some dank green? Any requests?
Damn, already? I thought we were cooling it on the threads, given we're on hiatus, but I'll take it.

Green about Janna stealing Marcosheartwould be appreciated
What is the best Simpsons song, and why is it See My Vest?
That's not how you spell, "Who needs the Kwik-E-Mart?"
>>77584407
Do the Simpsons still sing?
Anywho, the best song isHomer! Homer Simpson!
He's the greatest guy in history!
From the

He's about to his a chestnut tree

I've been sitting on this damn thing almost a month so, but I finally scanned it. I don't even know if it's available in the archive, but here ti is anyway.
This fucking show.
You can say whatever you want about how formulaic Regular Show is, how tumblr oriented Adventure Time got, how fat acceptance Steven Universe is, whatever you have to say about Gumball or Clarence, but you can't say that this shit is funny or good. I've tried watching this shit a lot and I can't laugh and it's just so fucking annoying. I don't know how kids watching this shit show will grow up to be normal citizens.
They referenced GG Allin once and that was pretty cool...I have nothing else to say about the show
its funny i like it

>Uncle grandpa
>Good
>a few decades have gone by since the events of the third Jimmy Timmy Power Hour
>Jimmy Neutron has grown up to become a responsible adult after learning ethics and how to treat people better
>he uses his science to make his world a better place
>meanwhile, in the Fairly Odd Parents universe, Timmy abuses his fairies' abilities so that he can have them for an extended amount of time
>the time loop he has put his world into has slowly degraded everyone's minds, which explains why characters became more exaggerated in their qualities as the series went on
>one day at home after receiving a Nobel Prize, Jimmy looks through an old photo book to remember how he got to where he was in the present day
>he comes across some photos of Timmy Turner and his universe
>feeling intrigued, Jimmy decides to go to Timmy's universe to see how he has been after all these years
>when he reaches Dimmsdale, he discovers that it has not changed much over the decades; in fact, it seems too similar to how it was during his misadventures with Timmy
>baffled upon this discovery, he seeks out Timmy Turner and his "assistants"
>Jimmy manages to single out Cosmo, who reveals to him that Timmy has kept his world in a time loop for the part fifty years
>highly disturbed by this, Jimmy figures that he must fix Timmy's world before he could end up being the latest victim of its time loop himself
>>77583913
>Timme
Oh doggone it.
>>77583913
He could of stopped this also
>Timmie
Knowing how modern FOP is, Timmy would probably get away with all in the end anyway while Jimmy would get mauled by magically appearing tigers for a majority of the episode.
REMEMBER ME?!
No.
Make with the details
>>77583654
Makes sense, they're both awful people.
>>77583654
Why would anyone draw that?
