Bendis's Iron Man is surprisingly readable.
I mean, it's not hard to beat the absolute shit he's put out over the past 10 years, but it's still actually decent.
It's not that bad, but his Doom is garbage.
Also, he's still prone to try and make memebait scenes and dialogue, like the fucking facial hair bros shit.
Dude, Facial Hair Bros LMAO

>That's evident from how well THE FLASH has been doing on the small screen, and with the Fastest Man Alive's movie recently losing its director, Greg Berlanti revealed that he doesn't have any plans to take the helm of that.
>"No one's discussed that with me, but I could never direct a Flash movie that Grant Gustin wasn't the lead of," he explained. "He's my Flash." As for the advice he would give whoever does end up in charge of that one, Berlanti added: "We have three words above the door of THE FLASH writers room: "Heart, humor and spectacle. If you're going to do something like the Flash, part of what made Barry Allen so great was that he was this guy in the middle of all these superheroes who couldn't believe that he was there, and he loved it. It was the first comic book character who made me cry. He died in "Crisis on Infinite Earths" saving everybody, and he was the last one anyone expected to save everyone, so inherent in this character was this heartbroken sadness and sacrifice, but at the same time this joy. That duality is something I've really latched on to in a lot of what I've done. This is the only Flash I'd know how to do."

I think he can pull off Booster Gold. His draft for GREEN LANTERN was solid too.

He's a good dialogue writer, but he needs a good editor and someone to do the action bits. Guggenheim is definitely NOT that person. He really should ditch him asap.
That's nice.
>>82725802
>Guggenheim is definitely NOT that person. He really should ditch him asap.
...and he should remain as an executive producer and comic book writer.

Not a single thread in the archive about this. Hopes go out there for a great artist and man with a great vision for superheroes and their meaning

I hoped you were memeing and I was ready to call you cuck. God, this sucks.
>Darwyn Cooke might die in your lifetime
please god take Kate Leth instead

>palliative care
There's no "might" here, friend
You know a really underrated scene that I don't see anybody mentioning? The fight scene in Bucky's apartment/the staircases.
That was like a Jackie Chan/The Raid type scene where they use all the fucking props on hand to make it work
>>82725247
I had no idea why the police just didn't open fire...
Some of them were too close to each other/ bad angles but not all of them.
>>82725247
Agreed. It was incredible even if somewhat messy to looks at.
>>82725528
They did though at many points. They kept blocking them.
On the staircase though, that's clearly too dangerous
>CW has Arrow,Flash,iZombie, Legends of Tommorow,Supergirl AND Archie:Riverdale now , all run by thr same folks
>The rest of their line up is tokushit like Supernatural, Vampire Diaries,The Originals, and The 100. And weird comedies like Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex Girlfriend.
What in the fuck happpend? How did one network get so based?
They stopped catering to teenage girls and started catering to the sci-fi crowd and teenage audiences in general.
Basically, rather than a little dash of everything, they embraced being a genre network.
>>82725165
The CW: Comic World.

>Original 6
Mah nigga right here got taste.
I don't really know how I feel about a Thunderbolts movie though. I'm afraid it would be twisted into a Suicide Squad knockoff, even though the T-Bolts are quite different from them despite the similar premise of supervillain teams.
Also, it's become slightly cliche to say, but there's no way they'd get Karla right.
>>82725515
In all fairness, it's not like most comic writers since Nicieza left have gotten Karla right, either (or Zemo, for that matter).
Starting with the fact that they don't write her as intelligent and clever as she should be.

You expected the DCCU to do anything other than disappoint you?
I could see him as Orm.
>>82724453
He's probably Vulko.
So guys, is everyone happy with the artist? How would you feel if Chris Burns and Dennis Culver are indeed the writers?
Do you want the other brothers of the SupeBats families to show up?
I really like Jimenez's art so I'm happy with him on pencils. I'm not familiar with those two writers so I can't comment but they'd probably be better than Lobdell or Jurgens
>Do you want the other brothers of the SupeBats families to show up?
Fuck no
>>82724295
I happy with his work too, but I wish there was a way to contact him like with other artists, you know for commissions and stuff.
Yeah, I heard one of them did Disney Duck comics, and Culver did a She Hulk/ X-23 team up issue.
Does anyone like this outfit for Jon?

Was Avengers Disassembled really the start of modern Marvel? 616 at least
>>82723716
Indeed it was. Thank based Bendis for ushering us into new golden age.
>>82723716
Cap looks really pissed at the other avengers for leaving their shit all over the place.
>>82723763
Of course, he's going to have to clean it all up
Can we reminisce about the old Simpsons? No judgement to those who may be able to laugh once or twice at a new episode, I just want to talk about old Simpsons.
Look at this guy. Homer's secretary, for his new position which he got thanks to a hair-grow product. What kind of genius came up with this guy? This is completely original, he fits a stereotype but in such a way that makes him extremely bizarre. I see a vague resemblance of the old Simpsons in newer episodes, but exaggerated and completely unrecognizable.
What about The Simpsons that was better in earlier episodes? I want to hear like specifics. Even if you have to describe it in a vague way and describe it as some kind of mystical feeling you felt in Season 9 or something like that, I want to hear it. Open your hearts to me brothers.
Reminisce?
>>82723462
Oh fuck this character reminds me of Brannigan.
He's in Episode 2 of Season 2. Fuck, he even gets himself fired and claims that HE was the one who used the company's insurance to buy the hair care product. Then whips up a check and writes $1000 to cover the cost.
Why I'm focused on this guy is because this is a character that is so completely out of the ordinary yet fits so seemingly well. The Simpsons had a lot of fun moments in the early seasons. This episode was a charming one.
