Bendis's Iron Man is surprisingly readable.
I mean, it's not hard to beat the absolute shit he's put out over the past 10 years, but it's still actually decent.
It's not that bad, but his Doom is garbage.
Also, he's still prone to try and make memebait scenes and dialogue, like the fucking facial hair bros shit.
Dude, Facial Hair Bros LMAO

I still can't believe that was an actual page, and not a /co/ parody edit.

Bendis?

>Pick up the last issue of this
>Iron Man isn't even in the damn thing

I don't intentionally try to be a killjoy but I seriously cannot fathom how Bendis or anyone could ever find this funny or acceptable. Especially with the lazy repeating panels.
I mean that's an entire page wasted for the sake of a cheap gag that's not even funny.

"Don't leave me hanging" is LITERALLY the only acceptable use of repeating panels. Also, it is always objectively funny. Screw you.

It's got Mary Jane Watson as the love interest now. That's why it's good.
So is this mainstream Tony who was once the dickishly devious Superior Iron Man?

Except for the memeshit is very pleasant to read.
Not a great book but I would say a better book than previous Bendis work.
I prefer his solo books way more than the team ones, this and Spider-Man proves that he is best with small cast
I agree. It's an east read. It's not being up its own ass like Gillens run or as future tech obsessed as Fractions. It's just Iron Man adventures.
I agree, it's not bad
Lightyears ahead of Gaurdians
But the again, I read it here for free
If I was paying for it, I wouldn't

I admit, I laughed at the repeating Strange leaving Tony hanging factor of the joke. Could've been done in three panels though.

Only the first few issues. The book falls apart as soon as MJ shows up.
