While walking home late at night from where ever you were, you encounter a group of Skrull scientists. They offer to use their knowledge of the Super Skrull program to grant you the powers of 4 individuals. There are however several rules for your selection and they are:
1) The powers of the selected individuals must all be from the same universe.
2) Powers of Flash, Hulk, Superman, Thor class beings will receive a 75% reduction in overall power if you plan to select the powers of 4 individuals.
3) Powers of Flash, Hulk, Superman, Thor class beings will not receive a reduction in overall power if that is the only power you want and if it is empowered by an outside energy source (aka Speed Force and solar energy) but you will still suffer some sort of penalty such as a significant increase in recharge duration in order to reach 100% and a significant increase to energy depletion when power is used.
4) Powers of beings surpassing a Flash, Hulk, Superman, Thor class beings are instantly voided.
5) No similar power stacking. Meaning you can't stack the superstrength of individual A with the superstrength of individual B. Only the more powerful one of the pair will be taken.
6) You will receive whatever limitations, weakness and physical mutation of your superpower donor.
7) Powers that require a specific power source while require that specific power source in order to function.
8) You are limited to 1 specific power source empowering you (aka no solar energy and electricity).
9) Tech-based weapons counts towards the selection (aka Shocker's gauntlets).
10) Cosmic weapons are only allowed if a mass produced version exists (aka Nega-Bands and Power Rings).

I really liked the Tick himself (wanted more of him in the episode) and I thought Arthur was ok. Overall though I though the pilot was pretty dull.
Id like to see it continue though.

I liked it, the more serious tone of everyone but Tick himself, the inclusion of the sister, and the voices of the Tick and Arthur actors reminded me more of the old cartoon than the Patrick Warburton show did.
I do wish Tick's actor had a square-r jaw though.

If you're a fan of animation you should see this. Support good animation.
The fight scenes were great, the Sisters were creepy awesome and it was dark but still fun. I enjoyed it greatly.
Did anyone else immediately think "Dorito Boat" when Kubo made the ship?
Here're some serious questions:Why can't anyone in this movie recognize voices? I mean, with Monkey I thought that she just sounded like the mother because she was made with her magic, but wouldn't the mother recognize Hanzo's voice? Or was that something she forgot due to her dementia?Did she have dementia, or was that something to do with becoming mortal, like how the Moon King lost his memory at the end?I'm not sure I fully understood why the Moon King wanted to steal Kubo's eyes. Was his plan to also steal his memories and brainwash him? Did he believe that if Kubo could look into another person's eyes, he'd empathize with them like his mother did and betray the Moon King after being brainwashed? Did he steal the eyes of The Sisters after Kubo's Mother betrayed him?

The entire movie is rife with eye-based symbolism. The Moon King's end goals are more about the principle than literal objectives.

I lovedeverything up until the end. They didn't play up the "don't blink" foreshadowing to a satisfying conclusion, and he used lame laser stuff rather than cool origami magic.
Steel balls for leaving the main character an orphan at the end, though.
