After Robin's death Batmam becomes increasingly more brutal prompting his first protégé, Nightwing, to leave and strike out on his own. Around that time, Waller's first attempt at putting together a government team of supers begins to have problems. The "Kid" Flash, Wonder "Girl", Aqualad, and psychic Raven are grossly mistreated by Agent Slade Wilson, the serum-enhanced soldier put in charge by Waller.
Nightwing, doing his own thing, is captured by government agents and forcibly recruited. Brings a bit of lightness to the shit that is the team's lives, while constantly comparing Wilson to Batman. The team goes on the run and gets hounded by Deathstroke and the Fearsome Five, other more willing recruits. The team wins mostly because Bruce postures with Waller, as he'd been secretly keeping an eye on Dick to ensure he's still safe.

As a DC fan I care about the hisyories and relationships between the characters. Rebirth got me back with its premise of "Nevermind Flashpoint, we are going back to Pre-Nu52".

But you'd think there'd be something like the comic book equivalent of steam or Netflix out there that everyone used so they wouldn't have to buy physical books. I know cbr is a thing but that's not even really comparable to either of the things I mentioned, like, why isn't there just an online store where you can buy fucking everything from dc to marvel to dark horse and all the indie stuff? You'd think organizing it all in one place would male people flock to it to get their fix, and maybe even encourage new authors to post their content on there and get a cut of all the sales
It seems like such a blatantly obvious idea and yet it doesn't exist. It would probably cost absolute pennies to upkeep compared to stuff like steam, I mean it's just hosting images, not full programs.
