Truly did I enjoy "The many tales of Lincoln Loud and his ten cantankerous sisters" as well as "The five Lion-Knights of Princes Allura" even if that was a monkflix exclusive.
Verily, I must say that mumery has been a misxed bag this year, with the fantastic "Captain Catholicism and Tony Stark wage war upon each other for differences they cannot overcome" but "Small force of mortal sin" was a mighty dissapointemnt

Seems okay so far. Don't really like the Alfred asspull. I'm loving Two-Face and this interpretation of Batman is neat. JRJR is doing way better with his art, too, which is really nice.

Best Marvel book, hands down. That moment in #10 when Vis and his daughter wereprayinghit lick a stack of bricks. Damn good book, no complaints. 10/10.

First issue was okay. Monster art was fanfuckingtastic, but the humans were just meh, and I'm not really interested in their stories all too much. The preview for the next issue,Godzilla vs. Greek Godsgot me hype.

It wasn't. The best book there was probably Uncanny X-Force and that lost steam at some point. X-Men sucked, Generation Hope was boring, DnA's New Mutants was wholly mediocre, I was never into Gillen, Carey's Rogue stuff was never as good as his Adjectiveless or Xavier stuff, X-Factor had become pretty underwhelming by that point and Wolverine and the X-Men is one of the shittiest X-books ever put out.

I'm lost with how people get outraged about this. Why do people scream racism or any other claim of bigotry when people complain about adaptations not following established character designs? Yeah, racism is likely there if you look when it's a race change but I don't see how the complaint isn't valid. Personally I get just as spergy about Lois Lane being a redhead in the DCEU and only see this as something that will eventually open the floodgates for companies just not to give a fuck and cast anyone to play a character who might even barely resemble what they are in the source material outside of name. Where's the prejudice in that?

You ever start off liking something a lot, then as you get exposed to more and more of it you start to wonder what it even was that you liked in the first place? I think that's what happened to the Loud House for me.
It's a decent show (certainly a breath of fresh air compared to what Nickelodeon has been airing the past few years) but as I started watching further and further into the show, the more bored I got. I think it just hits that mid-2000s middle-of-the-road level of generic which at first I was weirdly nostalgic for, but now have gotten tired of.

Loud House is one of those odd scenarios where something is enjoyable not because of what it is, but rather what it's not.
It doesn't have any of the cliches that /co/ has come to hate. It's just a kids show without any "deep lore" or "social commentary" or creators who constantly jack themselves off over their own insightfulness. It's just a cartoon.
