Typical Asterix story:
>ASTERIX AND obelix do something to the legionaries in Armorica
>Caesar gets pissed off
>some random dude presents to caesar a way to defeat the gauls
>he or one of his agents goes to the village to do so
>that leads to either a conflit with Asterix or to Asterix and Obelix going on a trip
>Asterix gets mad at Obelix
>countless steryotypes
>the pirates get fucked
>Caesar's agent gets fucked
>caesar regrets and makes peace with the village
>banquet

Et tu, quattuorchannus!?
So which one is the better Alfred? I thought both were extremely good
Caine by a country mile
way more sincere and believable.
BvS alfred was a little too cynical/ "the shit I put up with" for my taste
>>85785200
Both are great. Nolan's Alfred is my favorite thing about those movies, I'm gonna go with Irons though. He gives off the vibe that he's always been there at Bruce's side and always will.If you catch what I'm referencing that's neat.
>>85785253
BvS alfred had been doing Alfred for a considerably longer time.
Not only that, Caine's Alfred was filled with regret at the end of Nolan's series, and I feel like he would have turned out just like Irons' alfred if The Batman had lived long enough.
Why all the hate? His art is pretty damn great. Anatomy, fluidity, storytelling, designs, all top notch.
I mean yes, his faces can be pretty jank at times, but faces aren't everything.
I saw the op pic and thought it was murderanon back for another storytime and now I'm bummed
>>85785131
His art is fine but Ottley is better

Ok, maybe Ramos will be alright this time...

>It appears to be Marvel Comics’ plan to make Champions #1 by Mark Waid and Humberto Ramos the best-selling comic book in October.
>This is how they are going to do it. Retailers who match 200% of a retailer’s order of All-New All-Different Avengers #9, the one that featured the first new Wasp, will get 15% extra discount. 175% will get 10% extra and 150% will get 5% extra off.
>Those who match 200% can then order on top of that the Skottie Young cover, the Champions Variant cover, Hip Hop, Blank, both the Spider-Man and Hulk and the Johnny Blaze John Tyler Christopher action figure covers.
>They can also get the Champions party gear, 100 postcards, 20 lithographs, Champions pins….
>And one copy of the Party variant.
>While the Alex Ross cover is 1:100. The Captain America 75th anniversary cover is 1:50. And a 1:1000 variant – no details but could the odds be it’s by Joe Quesada? He does do these…
>Oh and the exclusive retailer cover availability, which adds 3000 to 4500 on for each comic shop that picks it up
>The only things that can get in the way? Teen Titans #1. The Clone Conspiracy #1. Civil War II #7. But they don’t have a lot of the things that Champions has – specifically that retailer exclusive cover.
>I wonder what Loot Crate will be up to in October?

Can't tell if this is legit Champions thread or "jesus ass eatin christ look at fucking cbr has become fuckkk"
ok /co/ I need ideas. My girlfriend wants to wear a Harley Quinn costume (like every other bitch will) So I need matching costume Ideas, I'd really like to avoid the joker or batman. So what should I be for Halloween?

Storytime: Night of the Jackass, a Warren classic
Is this the right place to bring up my issues with pixar?
I mean, Pixar does make good movies, but Dreamworks makes equally good movies. I feel like because of branding (Pixar being more popular) and people saying Dreamworks steals from them (they work in the same corporate and with the same writers, so some wires are bound to cross) have made people denounce Dreamworks movies without watching them.
I mean, I came up with a romance story about angels. A few days later in a bookstore, I saw a book that was a romance about angels, but with an entirely different plot.
That doesn't mean I stole the idea.
Saying SharkTale stole from Finding Nemo just because it has fish in it is bull.
Finding nemo a guy looks for his son.
Shark Tale: Will Smith Fish helps a gay gangster shark out of trouble by pretending he killed the other shark, becomes a crime boss and rich and famous, helps gay shark come out to his father, and gets the girl.
Bugs Life: Ants defend from grasshoppers with help of outcast bug.
Antz: they rescue some shit I don't know I haven't seen it recently enough to make a good argument, but I remember enough to know it isn't the same story.
Also, there isn't a comparrison for it, but Bee movie is one of my favorite movies. Bee falls in love with a human, but is mad because they take honey, gets honey production shut down, discover bees need to make honey to make flower, bees are useful, and not bad insects to be squashed on sight.
Not to mention Shrek. Shrek was probably the first animated movie I saw, and I would watch it over and over again, because in my smol child mind maybe I thought something would change. I laughed even though I really didn't get the jokes until years later. I can almost recite the whole movie word for word.
Shrek was made by a scorned Disney director to make fun of disney.
Madagascar; Penguins of madagascar.
The penguins were my favorite. I didn't care much for Marty and the gang, but those penguins. Those amazing penguins.
I think they did literally have insider information so that they could literally try to imitate all of Pixar's premisises
>>85784264
My point is that Dreamworks deals with more adult topics and more in depth stories but I'm mad Pixar gets so much popularity just because of branding by Disney and not on actual merit or content.
>>85784507
dreamworks relies mostly on popculture references making OCCASIONALY a pretty good movie (HTTYD, Megamind, KFP) while Pixar used to make movies based on emotions, after Disney bought Pixar is nothing but a sequel making machine, however Dreamworks is not doing any better.
Champions will be more social tumblr justice propaganda.

This is your fault, /co/.
Is Spider-Man Season 1 a good modern interpretation of the origin of mainstream (616) Spidey so I can launch myself to other good stories throughout his history? A friend told me Parallel Lives would also be a solid start but I want to know /co/ suggests.
>>85783729
Here you go senpai, this is generally considered the Go-to list for Spider-Man books
>>85783729
Most of the season one books i have read are boring and basic retellings of origin stories if thats what your looking for then go for it but personally i think pic related is a fantastic starting point if you want to start reading spidey
>>85783729
Don't read Spider-Man, 70% of it is shit.
What heroes and villains do you think should be used more, /co/?

Once there was like, this kid who, got into an accident and couldn't come to school,
But like, when he finally came back, his hair had turned from black to, uh, bright white.
He said that it was like from when the car had smashedso hard

Once there was this girl who, like, wouldn't go and change with the girls in the change room,
But when they finally made her
They saw, like,
Buttholes all over her body

Too much Dick
Based Ennis could've made fun of people writing her like a bimbo, but instead he went with Lovecraftian quotes and somehow that makes it even funnier. 10/10
Tell me about the Transformers comics.
What are the good ones? The bad ones? I hear the current IDW series is good but it fallows some kind of continuity that I don't get so I don't know where to start
Also they're apparently canon with the rest of the Marvel universe in the 80's since Marvel UK published them? And Death's Head made his first appearance in that?
>>85783177
The Marvel Transformers comics aren't canon but Death's Head is. He was originally from the Transformers universe but was taken to 616 by the 7th Doctor.
>>85783461
>He was originally from the Transformers universe but was taken to 616 by the 7th Doctor.
