Okay, the thing that really intrigues me about Rebirth's success is: are people working on all those high selling #1s and 2s and 3s now considered A-list, or does everyone politely aknowledge that they are pretty much blanks who did a "good" job not shitting up already-made templates.
King, Tomasi, Jurgens, Palmiotti, Conner, Jimenez, Seeley, Percy are outselling Bendis, Spider-Man, Snyder, Morrison and every other record-setter of the past ten years.
All the praise is for people making fresh and interesting stories again instead of just redoing the same company wide events year after year. If you've read one Bendis event, you've read them all.
Also Rebirth has managed to shake things up here and there without lazily killing or replacing characters for shock value with little to no relevant reason other than glorified clickbait.
>>85781298
Also it should be pointed out everyone is shitting on Jurgens and Action Comics because he's doing the same thing Marvel's doing: rehashing the same story yet again. Jurgens literally can't write anything other than the same Doomsday stories ad nauseum.
Meanwhile every other Rebirth title is trying something new and so far it's been a success.

You didn't answer my question or even speculated on it.
A-list/B-list/C-list have little to do with quality and more with the image you built for your publishers.
>Daffy has his Space Jam voice rather than his Looney Tunes Show voice
Does anyone even watch Wabbit?

Eh I prefer the egotistical jackass Daffy. Much more interesting as a character.
>>85781179
No, but I'm glade they made Daffy a nut again after the mess that was Killing Joke.

Sure, those work
What did she specifically do that would be considered legendary? Didnt she mostly just get her ass kicked and carried by her friends?
>>85780699
Ended the spiritual lineage of the Avatar Cycle and forced it to begin again with her, let the spirit of light die so it had to reincarnate, let spirits roam the Earth at will despite previous Avatars knowing enough to keep the two worlds separate and balanced.
>>85780699
She connected the human and spirit worlds. It's the equivalent of Obama proving that ghosts exist and setting up plans for ghost immigration.
She was a hot lesbian. So, there's that.
Daily reminder that Mayday is still the best female spider.

Yes, OP. Your image is EXACTLY what comes to mind when I think "Kirby Steppenwolf".
>X2 (Fox)
>Spider-man 2 (Sony)
>Blade (New Line Cinema)
>Hulk 2003 (Universal)
Is usual to hear or read "Rights should go back to Marvel", "Marvel will know what to do with the characters" but the unavoidable, factual, objective truth is that the best Marvel movies are movies NOT done by Marvel.
Why people insist on Marvel getting certain rights? Frankly I would insist on Marvel losing them so we can finally have a decent Thor movie for example.

The general public wants to see the characters interact with avengers characters/become part of the avengers.

The one that looked bizarre and had Hulk Dogs?
>>85779802
Sony's Spider-Man 2 was garbage, and Hulk 2003 was downright boring, OP. Sure, Ed Norton Hulk wasn't great, but I was at least able to finish it in one sitting.

This...doesn't answer my question.
Alright /co/, I keep on seeing everyone getting pissed off about Bendis' writing, i.e. continuity mishaps, repetitive writing etc, but never see any evidence for it. To put things in /pol/ terms "Redpill me".
TL;DR, Bendis hate thread featuring evidence.
Just find a comic written by him and see for yourself you horsefucking mongoloid.
He makes 6 issue arcs with the weakest climaxes

Artist Placement thread!
Any artist you want to see on specific books or characters?
Alan Davis is avaliable.
>She Hulk if she gets a ongoing after CW2.
David Marquez will be available once CW2 is over...
>Male Thor if he gets a actual ongoing after his Unworthy mini is finished.
>Squadron Supreme replacing Kirk.
Anyone have any idea where Kenneth Rocafort will be going?
I honestly don't know what book fits him besides Ultimates.
Maybe the Nova resurrection.
Fernando Blanco on Deathstroke.
Why were 80s cartoons so terrible?
That was one of the good 80s cartoons.
This was one of that bad ones.
>>85779438
When almost every 80s cartoon was released to sell a product or toy, the artistic integrity of the show would reflect that

Well, they showed the bones of dead animals. Show doesn't do that often, so I'll take it for what it was. Fuli also tackled a hyena, which I find notable because she usually doesn't get to fight anything.
