I liked it. Like most of the cartoons on Jetix it was severely underrated.

It was ok. I only watched the dub so I probably got the short end of the stick. The setting was fairly interesting but you have to get over the character designs you had to get over. The CGI still holds up today and environment art was great though.

The characters are bland archetypes of what we have already seen: The hardened man and the sick wise old man plus a girl the hardened man must care about for two hours in order to die at the end.

The issue is multi-faced. There is the problem of inactivity, the problem of reduced visibility and new competition, the problem of the rise of cape shit as a billion dollar industry. But the biggest issue is WB / Bugs is remarkably similar to Sonic / SEGA vs Mario / Nintendo, at least in relation to Disney.

The series desperately needs another Space Jam. But what it needs more is to be followed up by a really amazing cartoon series that is popular with the kids of today.
