How would you make Apocalypse a creditable threat in 616 without a major change to the status quo of things (aka. Age of Apocalypse/alternate universe)?
>>90424122
Kill a alt world then send him back.
>>90424122
Have him conquer a good portion of a third world region (Central Africa? South America?) before anyone in America notices. Then have him fortify his position enough through MAD.
He has to have smaller goals. The bigger a threat you are the less plausible it is you ever succeed.

Anybody got links to a movie site where I can watch Logan?
Probably. Not here, though.
Go ask /tv/. Or Google.
Or stop being twelve.

Personally, I use putlocker.is for my movies. But I torrent cams for some reason, the feedback ppl give is useful. I'm sure someone has a better method though.

>“We cannot, once again, explore the Erik/Charles dynamic,” Shuler Donner said in a late-February conversation with Vanity Fair, about the intense frenemyship between Magneto and Professor X that has driven the bulk of the franchise over the past 17 years. The producer says this brave new Charles-and-Erik-less world is “both liberating and makes me nervous—it’s mostly liberating.” Charles and Erik are “always essential” to X-Men—but, she admits, “there are other stories to tell.”

Thank God really, it was getting pretty tiresome and eating away screentime from other characters. The comics have long since moved past this, it's why Xavier is still dead.
X-Kids movie when
Also, explanation to how Mystique is supposed to be Kurt's mum when
There was no Magneto/Professor X dynamic in their garbage Wolverine movies
and look how it turned out though
>>90423596
maybe now x-men movies can finally be fucking good again and we can focus on other mutants aside from those two and Wolverine. (Spoilers for Logan in the black bar)it helps that both Jackman and Patrick Stewart have said they won't return to these roles after Logan, and they died in the movie as a symbolic representation of that.
the only movie where i liked the dynamic was first class, when they first met each other and you could see how they became friends. days of future past was dumb, and magneto was barely even a thing in apocalypse. i hope we get back to seeing the classic mutants in the spotlight again, since apocalypse's ending was basically setting up just that.
Tell me this /co/
If someone wanted to create their own cartoon, who has the higher chance of success to get on a major network.
A person who draws
or a person who writes?
When you answer that question, you'll realize why the western cartoon industry is in such bad shape.
People who draw get priority over people who write, thus leading to subpar writing on average, and not only that the visuals usually aren't anything to write home about either for some reason.
We need companies to focus more on writers more and drawers less and I have a good feeling cartoon quality will skyrocket.
>>90423580
You're wrong in every regard. The person who has a higher chance of success is the person who has connections. There's thousands of amazing ideas out there for a tv series. Some of them have been made into competent pilots already, some by solo animators. But those people aren't being given chances as much as that guy who is best friends with one of the talent scouts at Disney and spends most of his lunches cracking jokes with him until one day he asks, "Hey, you interested in making a pitch?".
Do... do you know how cartoons are even made, anon?
>>90423659
That doesn't answer the question though anon.
Between someone who can draw but can't write, and someone who can write but can't draw, who has the higher chance of getting a cartoon to air?
I'm not sure there aren't other options, but we're not discussing those options. Obviously someone who's rich and can no neither has the highest chance.
But when we look at CN, their currently running creators, they're all people who are known as animators first, with writing just slapped on after, and it shows.
Cyclops doesn't deserves the terrible scrutiny he gets. He really is quite the tragic character...
>scrutiny
I've never understood that. "Oi, don't pay attention to this, I don't want you to bring it up."
But yes, he's probably the biggest victim of poor writing in Marvel history.
>>90423210
They spent months building up the 'Cyclops is literally Hitler' thing, and then followed it up with the dumbshit tweeest of Death of X. This, on top of 'goddamn look at how eeeevil Scott is' in Avengers vs X-Men and the events that preceeded it.
The ineptitude at trying to make Scott evil over the course of several years, and failing at every turn, is truly impressive.
Didn't he cheat on Jean?
Yo, X-Nerds. I got a question for you. Back in the 80s, Callisto kidnapped Angel and roughed him up pretty bad in an attempt to force him into marriage. Later, he is said by the ed. notes to have convalesced in the pages of Marvel Fanfare, but I can find no mention of that on the wiki. Did this never actually happen? All I see is the first Fanfare arc where he goes to the Savage Land.
Bonus question: when he broke up with Candy to pursue Dazzler, was that purely off-panel, or did it occur elsewhere?
Everyone else: ask your obnoxiously specific questions here.
The Marvel wiki is shockingly sparce; I tend to use the equally-bad but more comprehensive Comicvine.
Also, I seem to recall writers' shifts being responsible for that whole thing being dropped.
>>90423167
To be clear, when I say the wiki, I mean the Marvel Database Wikia, which is pretty damn thorough. You should check it out.
>>90423108
Which issue had the editor's note?
A later Marvel Fanfare issue had a story of Angel being taken care of. But that was quite a bit after the Callisto arc.
Name a better webcomic than Nedroid
Nah.
Nedroid is and always be my favorite webcomic, cause it's the one that got me into that whole style.
But, objectively, I feel like Gunshow is the end all webcomic.

/co/, the last cartoon you watched is doing a crossover mini series with the series of the last comic book you read.

It gets worse.
A Sly Cooper series from the creative team and crew that made Mystery Incorporated would be great. The style, content, atmosphere ... van -- everything fits.
Professor Pericles would already make a pitch perfect Sly Cooper villain.
Forget it, Anon; it's Sony.
>>90422585
It'll never happen, I know. But I can dream.
Pretty sure that project is on indefinite hiatus anyways. Ratchet didn't do well enough.
What kinda sucks is that the humor seemed on point in the teaser. It was just the designs that looked like garbage.

Why is Marvel so adamant against this guy being in their cross over games with Capcom?

>>90422179
Darkstalkers was never that popular and Morrigans popularity was largely fueled by the VS games
Also I have never heard that, and I'm pretty sure Capcom has the last word on that
Including the other male Darkstalkers characters? Waifus.
But I'm still holding onto the hope that maybe Demitri and or Talbain will be there with Morrigan in MvC: I.
>At Coast-To-Coast Comic-Con, Jim Zub is talking Glitterbomb, Dungeons & Dragons, Thunderbolts, Monsters Unleashed and more. Busy boy.
>And now he’ll be writing Uncanny Avengers from June, drawn by at the Kim Jacinto, with Rogue, Quicksilver, Doctor Voodoo, Synapse, Human Torch. It launches with two issues of Secret Empire crossover and then new cast members to follow – though it depends who will still be alive
>But Thunderbolts won’t be running through Secret Empire as Winter Soldier is drawn into the Hydra events…
Fuck Winter Soldier
I'm just dazzled at who thought making the T-Bolts book a Bucky book was a good idea. Such a shame to waste the book before Secret Empire, an event which is apparently going to involve Baron Zemo a whole bunch.
This'll go down as another Fightbolts.
>>90421698
But does this mean that this worthless hack is off the book? Or is Marvel retarded enough to relaunch it with him as the writer afterwards? I'd rather have no book than a shit one.
>>90421880
Hopefully they just relaunch it with legacy numbering, a not shit artist, and Spencer replacing Zub come post-SE. Spencer did a better job with the Thunderbolts in their very few appearances in Standoff than Zub did in 10 issues.
So have any of you guys seen this? From Robert Valley, the guy that made the Tron series. This was beautiful.
Great fucking OST too.
It took 8 hours, but we have a download link for FtM now.
