How long now before nuPPG gets cancelled?
>>90459248
As long as this thing sells merch they don't care about the ratings, so maybe a couple of years
>>90459248
>a couple of years
>of nuPPG existing

Are the X-Men truly the douchebags of the super heroe world?
>>90456632
No, those are the Avengers.
>>90456632
>>90456663
X-Men are uptight liberal hypocrites
Avengers are a dysfunctional group whose good PR saves their reputation

/co/ may hate the show, but you've got to admit he was a GOAT villain
THIIIIIIC
>>90456519
I simply adored that guy. The way he talked, behaved... Everything was perfect. The best cartoon villain ever!
>>90458043
obnoxiously overwhelming?
I don't even like "Him" from Powerpuff Girls but he was better than the red guy
>>Bring Wallflower back to life.
>>Scarlet Witch who caused all the mutant misery is still regarded as a hero.
>>X-Men would rather bring the original 5 X-Men to the present than saving any of the X-Kids who died after M-Day.
>>Has the ability to control people with emotions.
If Marvel's writing staff didn't suck so much right now, they would have created an amazing villain with Wallflower.
>>90456335
Waifufags are so embarrassingly annoying.
>>90457864
The only reason Scarlet Witch and Jean Grey are around right now in current comics is Waifufags.

You don't fight fire with fire, unless you want to burn the whole place down.
I scanned a few odd comic related things I've been hanging on to for a while and figure I dump them here.
First up a Catwoman letters page wherein a lady make a point in favor of fanservice.
What if Mike Allred had created Spider-Man, from Marvel Vision magazine.
>drool over (...) half the Legion of Super-Heroes
extremely good taste
Allred Spidey pogs.
Holy shit this happened
Grant Morrison's New X-Men is the definitive X-Comic.
Morrison wrote one of the best interpretations of Beast. His Emma Frost is iconic.
He's also the writer who started the Beast/Emma friendship. Beast was the first to welcome Emma into the fold. Then he collected all of her shattered diamond fragments, and was determined to save her.

it's so weird to see traits of fun/cool Avengers Beast in X-books
Storytiming Batman #441 cos I feel like it
After seeing Logan Im looking to read some of the comics that inspired the movie. I know theres Old Man Logan which Ive read and The Death of Wolverine which im planning to read were there any others people noticed
>>90454755
Those are basically it plus whatever story X-23 met Wolverine in. The rest of the movie is influenced by Westerns and other films.

I was going to make a thread like this but i was going to ask for the read list of wolverine.
>character throws something off-screen
>sound of glass breaking, cat yelping, MY LEG, etc.
>The show's most frequent receiver of slapstick and/or misfortune is a cute/attractive female character with a likable personality.
>>90454582
>The main character gets chased by unattractive females while also being rejected by the woman he loves
>The characters end up in a Mirror Universe (only Mirror Universes, other kinds of alternate universe fuckery make me tune out)
>A love interest turns out to be evil (bonus points if the romance was built up for several episodes)
>The strict, asshole teacher acts like a total bro when class is out

Is it just me or has Simpsonwave resparked an appreciation for the earnestness of early Simpsons? Ever since the dawn of Simpsonwave, people around the internet are raising their voices and giving praise for the first couple seasons of Simpsons and it's unrelenting heart.
I think that Simpsonwave is the conclusion of decades worth of post-Golden Age Simpsons commentary, to look back with a truer heart instead of just crying about how bad Simpsons has gotten.
In a way, Simpsonwave is a new way to experience classic Simpsons
although I agree with you, no one will believe it because muh vaporwave memes
>>90453822
I'm pretty sure Simpsonwave never got a big enouph to do that.
I'd rather blame both EVERY SIMPSONS EVER marathons and just how the nostalgia wheel turns.
Even the vaporwave 'scene' didn't really care for simpsonswave after the few original ones came through.
You forgot Simpsons Shitposting

Where is this "old country" many character seem to come from? It clearly seems to be eastern europe or the balkans at least.
So I'm wondering what large format collections are out there.
I'm talking Absolute sized. I'm aware of a few outside of DC, such as Hellboy Library Edition,. Fear Agent, the TMNT Ultimate Collections, Rocketeer, and... that's about it.
Are there any other collections of this nature?
There is just simply "omnibus" too which is usually more about pagecount than anything else. "Oversized hardcover" is another one; I'm not sure about the specifics though or what it might actually mean quality-wise.
>>90452961
Also fuck it. While we're at it, what would you like to see in this kind of format?
Prophet in a two volume set could be pretty awesome.
It's hard to decide. I think anything over about 30ish issues is too much for this format. Too many huge as fuck books. It's great for a small mini or series though.
Hellboy is an exception because fuck yeah Hellboy.
>>90453061
I'm talking about collections that blow up the art to beyond the normal comic format. That's what makes Absolutes fun. They're bigger than a traditional collection. I've got more than a few omnis on my shelf. (And fuck me a few on order and desired.) I'm talking these almost art book styled versions.
