Probably sexiest to me is Daughters of Dragon - Sword of Revenge published in Deadly Hands of Kung Fu andinb4 jojoBizarre Adventures
jesus christ what 45 year old loser wrote this
Why did people like this show?
I always found it kind of bland too
Not sure but my friend's one ex-girlfriend like to make poorly-drawn porn of the characters and self insert as Isabella. I wish I could show you, but she wiped it all from her DA and is now a furry instead.
>>92685481
I guess it's because it was something other than a yet another bland sitcom, it was also very creative with its humor for its first couple of seasons but became a chore afterwards.
I can't wait until Tynion is off this book. I have zero interest in what he's doing with this storyline or the book in general.
Why does Tynion have to make Steph so unlikable?
>>92685220
Same here. Tynion is just ruining this whole fucking setup. If somebody like Dixon was writing this, it would be charming but Tynion writes everyone out of character and turns it into shit.
I hate him so much and all the DCdrones who won't criticize anything in rebirth
this book is so bad
I'd rather Steph be in limbo
Why is Marvel so afraid to have their women dress like this? Why is DC Based enough to not care?
Boobs are sexist, disgusting things, only misogynists would want to see
>>92685020
I mean, this is hella covered up compared to the buttfloss she used to wear.
DC knows what female readers want. That's why cosplayers like Harley Quinn, WW, Poison Ivy, etc.
>it's a John K projects his abusive father and childhood abuse episode

I actually like this trope in cartoons
>>92684938
Why do people suck his dick again?
>>92685743
He made a good (at least, that's what most people think) cartoon once and thinks he is the authority on everything now.
How do I get into comic books? I'm really interested in Batman, the Teen Titans, and Spiderman, but I've only ever seen their shows and stuff, but I am open to whatever so long as it's interesting. Where should I start?
Pic related is the only superhero comic I've read thus far.
>>92684921
>Batman
From the late 1960s on.
>the Teen Titans
Marv Wolfman's run only.
>Spider-Man
From the 1960s until 1990.
>>92684921
Batman is a shitty character. You should avoid his comics. They are just awful.
Teen Titans isn't like the TV show. If this is what you like, you should just stick to the Lego DC Superhero's GNs.
Spider-man hasn't been good since Stan Lee stopped writing him in 1960.
>>92684921
start with the most famous runs/graphic novels. For example with Batman you can read Knightfall or Hush or (for 'starting years' Batman) Long Halloween/Dark Victory. Even if you don't like it you're more "in the know" since this is the shit that is referenced everywhere ad nauseam
then stop following the character and switch to following writers/artists.
I won't help you with Titans or Spider-Man though because I've read a lot less Spidey and no Titans. I've pretty much read only Lee/Ditko Spidey, Kraven's Last Hunt and some McFarlane run which I didn't like.
Was he just full of shit?
more like he's dead.
Never trust a blue person.

Wouldn't that be the portal then? He just listened to it.
Is this commmenter right /co/?
>do not add any modern trends
i think he means fads, since going the opposite and only using rotary phones and apple IIs is not very good either
>dont make your character too stupid
usually true, very few liked characters were significantly under standard intelligence
>add some heart
well, if you dont like what you make, the quality will suffer
>tons of comedy
subjective, some people dont like comedy, but great comedy can make your show timeless, watchable long after your animation has been super annuated by time
>no fart or butt jokes
subjective, some people like fart jokes, but this kind of comedy is definitely a small dose for most people
>dont abuse a character
or rather dont pointlessly abuse a character, it should be funny, dramatic, used for plot, used for character, but it has to accomplish something, not just abuse for its own sake
>make the show enjoyable for all ages
good thing to strive for, nothing kills a show more than narrow niche appeal, and if you can have true multi-generational appeal, your show will really last the test of time, as adults show it to their kids
>make your character likeable
this one needs explaining, not just liekable as in nice, but you have to be able to enjoy them, you can have a complete asshole, but if he is sufficiently charismatic or awesome, then people will like him, but having a mean abrasive person who has no purpose other than to be a jerk, then of course no one will like him
>Do not break the fourth wall, unless funny
well, a few shows can get away with dramatic fourth wall breaking, but they are usually the exception, the "unless its funny" is important here, since what is funny to some is not funny to all
>>92684670
In general, yeah, these are all good points - except for the "tons of comedy" thing.
let's bump this again

Now that the dust has settled, how good/shit was this movie?
inb4EmmaWatsonsvocalpipesDebating on seeing this at the dollar theater before it leaves
>>92684062
I haven't seen it but my friend (who adores the animated version and was really skeptical about this one) really enjoyed it.They thought Emma Watson was shit tho.
>>92684062
Emma Watson isnt as bad as a singer as people make her out to be what she was underwhelming to say the least.
Luke Evans absolutely NAILS Gaston, and unfortunately he is the only part of the movie to achieve such success.
The new songs are utter dogshit and i have no idea how they made it past the first draft, but the old songs were good.
That being said, the only song that was in any way improved on was Gaston, but even then there are still aspects of it that pale in comparison to the animated version. Be our guest, which is supposed to be a mind blowing special effects showstopper, is just fucking boring to sit through. The whole prologue is significantly worse, particularly the reprise at the end with the whole "i want adventure in the great wide somewhere line" really exposing Watson's weaknesses in comparison to the power that moment has in the cartoon.
Luke Evans, Josh Gad, and Dan Stevens (even though he gets fucking nothing really to work with) are all very good singers. Ewan and Watson are ok, the rest are sort of irrelevant.
Anyway, overall it really wasnt a terrible movie, it just fails to improve on literally anything compared to the cartoon and is by far the weakest Disney live action remake so far, even worse than Petes Dragon.
>>92684376
and also someone correct me if im wrong but the best damn line in the whole movie was cut out.
In the cartoon you get a pretty on the nose line that nevertheless demonstrates the important lessons this story has to teach and its when the townspeople get riled up by Gaston and they chant "we dont like what we dont understand, in fact it scares us, and this beast is mysterious at least" and for some fucking reason disney left it out of this version.
ITT Characters who should be in the MCU.
>>92684038
I could see him in a gotg movie
>>92684137
James Gunn actually wanted to use him. But Hasbro has the rights.
Is there a legitimate reason this guy is so fucking out of his mind crazy?
>>92683974
So imagine you're a huge fanboy for someone from the past and you invent time travel just to meet them.
And then you get there and find out history says they murdered you.
>>92683974
Well the current angle is something like this.
Imagine the most incredible person you can, idol or lover doesn't matter. Just think of your perfect person.
Now imagine reading a book from the future which says you not only become an absolutely abhorrent asshole but said perfect person hates you because of it.
>Well I'll just stop it from happening
You can't, now that you've read it a paradox would entail from the information existing without the events playing out. You absolutely must/will become an abhorrent asshole to have ever come across that future evaluation and the person you admired/loved absolutely must/will detest you. There is nothing you can do about this, however you can make it so you can slightly influence things that have and must happen ever so slightly. After all just how much of a detestable abhorrent asshole you can be is left to interpretation so long as the beginning and end points remain reasonably the same.
>>92683974
imagine if Sonic was real, and Chris-chan discovered that he is destined to be the one to murder him, but he doesn't discover this until after he'd gotten his hands on the chaos emeralds to try and be more like sonic
