>unique design in a big market, did lots of work and have high hopes
>conservatively hope for $50k funding, reasonably expect into the 6 figures

>kickstarter forces it down the explore page
>never feature it
>list it behind almost literally every other campaign, despite most of them not having any backers whatsoever

>suppliers start dipping out
>new suppliers won't even talk to us
>emailed hundreds (!) of bloggers, journalists, youtubers, anyone and everyone who might cover our story or product
>0 (ZERO) replies from over 300 emails sent out
>today we actually lost backers

I want out. I want out of this bullshit game. Other people didn't get fucked this hard trying to make money. Every, single, step of this process we've been hit by setback after setback after fucking setback.

And that's just this one venture. I've busted my ass at 3 other, even less ambitious projects than this and have gotten fucking nothing. Whoopdedoo, $130 after 6 months of work on a YouTube channel. I'd call that basically nothing.

Why is it so fucking hard to make money? I want out of this fucking game. I only need ~$20,000 a year to be completely comfortable and happy. I could make it with $16,000 a year. I need almost nothing but I don't get fucking *anything*. Fuck this. Fuck this world, fuck luck, and fuck people who got luckier than me for less work.

I've done nothing to get dealt such a shit fucking hand.

Robinhood graphs are shit and only show you an average, not true real-time prices. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.

Real brokers, like TDAmeritrade's thinkorswim. Otherwise you should be using stockcharts.com, finviz, or a non-pile-of-shit for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

Just bought some monero and noticed there is a guy with a buy order for almost 4000 coins for about 80k. That is 25% of the market cap.
Wouldn't this make the price go up considerably?

Just graduated college with a degree in accounting and finance, moved, and got a job doing portfolio accounting at a mid-sized investment firm. I'm only making 18.50 an hour but I'm also on contractor status for the time being. Am I being ripped off? This comes out to $38K before taxes. Everyone told me I'd start at at least 45K.

Am I missing something?

/biz/ I present to you Crown. Before you dismiss this as another shit coin let me explain to you the benefits of this marvelous coin.

After researching for countless hours (financial weaponized autism) on coinmarketcap, comparing charts and the gains for the last week, and constantly reading through many bitcointalk threads for the next coin that has real potential I believe I have found it.

It's is another unique coin that utilizes the bitcoin core protocol and the Dash protocol, in short it is a force to be reckoned with. Crown transactions are fast, toppled with the bitcoin network security, and then another layer of security with it's own version of the masternode system. *Crown can also be merged-mined with the bitcoin network*

You're probably thinking, it's another PIVX. Well it's not. PIVX it's in a POS state therefore can no longer be mined. Also, this coin has about 4.5x LESS the amount of PIVX coins currently. There is a planned supply of 42 million coins throughout it entirety.

This coin has been in development since 2014 and the devs are working hard to make sure they provide something of value. The community is growing at a good pace from what I can see.

My aging Boomer parents (I have two sets as my biological parents divorced and remarried...this post will concern my mom and stepdad) are really giving me concerns. My mom is on her third master's program and eying a Ph. D. or another degree. She's in her early 60s and while I consider this inspirational and I want to be positive about it...she is almost hitting her loan cap. For those of you that don't know, educational loans in America are capped by degree level, e.g. Bachelors is ~60k give or take; Masters and Doctoral is in the ~150k...only law school and medical school have higher caps. Anyway, put another way my mom is in debt for over a 100k dollars after five years of undergraduate training and almost five at the masters level.

We've spoken about it before and she is not surprisingly worried. She saw the light very briefly, but then this last time my stepfather stepped in and said something to the effect of how she's owed it or deserved it after all these years now that they're both retired. While I think this is all well and good, what she's effectively doing is crippling herself with debt that cannot be discharged unless she dies or is fully and permanently disabled. In some cases, lenders will come after the estate or the surviving family members

Anyway, I could write a snarky, shitty post about Boomer vanity projects and the dangers therein, but that's not wholly constructive. I never thought I'd be disappointed in my parents, but I am. Yes, they're human too, but this is almost as bad as them falling for the Nigerian prince email scam, or for ITT Tech and for-profit schooling, or idk getting hooked on heroin.

Is there anything that can be done at this point? Should I just cut my losses and enjoy our relationship even though mom is digging a grave for her and my stepfather? What can or should I do? I am not sure I can intervene as I have before and it has fallen on deaf ears.
