Almost everyone who own BTC are opportunists who always think how they are going to earn more money. They all think they are smarter than anyone else which is why, more often than not, the opposite of what should happen, happens. I think that's because large amounts of trade affect the market so much that the price changes without allowing the transaction to complete. Do smaller amounts but don't do too many or your account will get locked like mine.

I'm not familiar with how the Runescape economy operated, but usually in games like that there is no cap on player farming of resources and few gold sinks. In the real world resources are limited and the money supply is controlled.
