I got it biz
It's so easy.. or is it?
All you have to do is invest 300 dollars and try and make 1% profit every day for 3 years and you will be a millionaire.
Just 1% guys
Surely if you were to control your greed and just set a sell order at a measly 1% increase in price, and change crypto every now and then to make sure you stay in healthy coins, then it would work. But do it every day for 3 years.

>implying the market can absorb $10k+ without having a drastic effect

The bigger coins can, they have a volume of tens of millions to hundreds of millions per day.
Wish someone would create chart with this stuff
Could easily try it
Every other poster on this shit board says that they have, "Owned a business," or currently own a business now.
So, be honest. How many of you are just LARPing? Also, you, "Owning a business," does not count if you sell shit on Ebay or Craigslist. Or, even worse, are a Cam Girl.
I'm talking how many of you actually own a legitimate business. You know, with employees, the production of goods and services, etc.
It's really not that bad. Most people on /biz/ actually claim to be neets, wageslaves or traders, I'm pretty sure. Given that we have people from all walks of life on 4chan, I'd assume that at least half of people claiming to own a business actually do so.
Businesses with employees are probably rarer, but that reflects the general structure of the economy. Something like 85% of businesses are sole proprietorships with many not having any employees at all (self-employed truckers, caretakers, gardeners, consultants, accountants, photographers, SEOs, etc). Doesn't make them any less of a legit business. I see no reason why dropshipping / online resale shouldn't be a legit business as well.
Personally I run a business with 1 employee providing b2b IT services and IT security consulting. To be fair, she does most of the work, I mainly do backoffice stuff. Given the amount of work I put in I feel less of a legit businessman than if I did dropshipping or caming, even though I fit your definition. Just goes to show that you really shouldn't sterotype businesses broadly.
>>1931737
I own a janitorial company.
I know of a guy that's a tile contractor and another that's a landlord.
Realistically about 10% of the US population owns a successful business though. So /biz/ has way fewer business owners than average.

Do trickle-down economics work?
Yes. Less tax burden on business = more business = more job opportunities. It's sad that the retards on the left deliberately misinterpret it to mean that they'll get more money. It's opportunity and economic growth that trickles down, not cash.
>>1930820
and then you get huge economic inequalities (not just inside one country, btw), and, you know, poor/rich are relative concepts, that is, relative to one each other...
>>1930814
Depends on the economic conditions and the regulatory landscape
If there is reason for the wealthy to invest, then it "works" however in a recession or deflationary environment they'll hold onto their money harder than Elvis held onto a bacon and jelly sandwich.
The thing about all economic theories is the one's that do work usually only do so within a certain window, and when you're out of that window you need to use another theory to guide regulation/monetary policy.
>When you have a hammer, everything is a nail
It seems like cryptocurrency eBay. Why shouldn't I invest? Why do people hate it?
People hate it because they got burned when they bought in at the ATH and are salty over it.
>>1930669
There was that one fucking shill who kept hating on it. Unlike 99% of altcoins, BitBay actually has a working product and massive potential. It is seriously undervalued.

Any rental property investors here?
I'm looking to make my first investment but I think I need better sources. I've built a bot to archive homes posted online but am I missing deals that aren't listed?
What sources do you use to look for property?
Bump
>>1930518
I'm not a property investor (not liquid enough imo), but I'd imagine you go the other way about it. Find the exact area you want, type of property, then research it, then either monitor those properties, or straight up get an agent (or do it yourself) to go to the door and talk about buying it from the owner.

I've had success in my life regarding getting work at a young age, my resumes were always at least a B+ level and I got many callbacks.
However I am trying to cut down on useless jobs and start fresh with solid references to get myself out of the dirt and finally move out for good at 20 and try to earn an honest living FOR REAL in the trades, and take advantage of the coming labour shortages.
I honestly am looking for a simple, minimalist resume template, and I'm sure all anons could do with some assistance, at least in that simple form or we wouldn't be on a financial message board.
Anyway, hope we can contribute, would love the help. Interested in resumes that focus on credentials and skills, with a smaller focus on employment. Want to start fresh and straight to the point, mostly used as a way of attaining an apprenticeship or entry-level trades job, but would like to stand out.
Love you all, any advice or templates?
>>1927796
Minimalism isn't necessarily a good thing when it comes to resumes, anon (unless you're talking about length which should be 1 page.) You want to stand out a bit visually.
This is a resume that I used to land my last job. Obviously, I have a lot of in-demand skills, but I had friends with basically the same skillset who spent 3+ months looking for a job while I had two offers in 3 weeks.
>>1928022
That's a pretty nice resume. I like how you integrated all these keywords, yet it still looks clean and tidy

Lets say im 25 and i want to start buying gold as my retirement fund, is this a stupid idea? should i put money into some kind of investment instead?
>>1925319
It's fine.
a house is better.
an index fund is better than that.
a retirement account hooked to an index fund is the best.
gold keeps up with inflation
so does a house after tax deductions
an index fund beats inflation
an index fund retirement contribution beats inflation and cuts taxes.

Get in on LTC if you haven't already
>LTC provides a proxy for the various parties to profit on resolving their differences
>Money moves in the direction of the least resistance and that which allocates capital to the most production.
>LTC might flag pattern here a bit (pull back a bit) while the market digests whether Bitcoin is really stuck in a stalemate with ever rising fees. But it is very likely going much higher.
>Big chinese mining goons/whales aiming to activate SegWit (remember SegWit LTC requires only 75%)
>SegWit activation already resulted in SysCoin pump
>Constant HF fears in BTC due BU trolls move capital to LTC
>LTC is an ideal safe haven since it's a simple and solid coin with liquidity and realistic LN+SegWit
>Top volume coin in Poloniex with top volume buy orders
>50% of Bitcoin's volume. Litecoin has never seen any where near that level of volume before.

I'm interested in designing a strategy-based mobile app and I'm looking for the ways to find a partner, a company that would hiire/work with someone with a genuine resume in the fields.
I have been designing game theory since I was 5+, from using pen & paper and legoes- to later with custom engines on PC within games. I just have lots of experience into gamification. I have worked on mod projects, highlights being patch suggestions featured in Minecraft and design choices on DotA 1. Nothing too big or serious, but those are the only things realized. I hope my best work is the thing that gets me known. Notes of experience in entertainment, public speaking and marketing/advertising.
I can direct the gameplay, balance, and style. I have over a decade of Photoshop/Illustrator/Web Design Experience. I can get the game noticed, I have some connections. (YouTubers)
I have a wide repertoire of games played at various competitive and casual levels.(Super smash bros PM states, Master league Starcraft 2, minor pros DotA 2) There is huge niche that isn't covered yet that I believe can make some sweet success, and for me, more importantly, an actual good mobile game.
Where can I find people that want to fund/code/etc, put together a presentation for crowd funding(potentially), or otherwise move to the next step to get some development going?
oop meant to say without a* and hire*. Didn't write this to be a resume, just to give a scope of who I am and what I'm looking for.
