Question: Are they replacing all the workers with native English proficiency, or just all the ones I get assigned interviews?
I recently took a screener for a low-level position in Amazon and had to translate broken English via an echo-y speakerphone. He simply did not understand when I asked "what are the requirements?"
At this rate, even if I do make it to the next round, I'm considering opting out. If that's indicative of their standards, I can study harder and keep applying elsewhere.

Well obviously the more in demand you are the better they will treat you.You'll have to feel that out yourself. If you've only interacted with outsourced 3rd worlders and have spent X hours of your own time, its not really a positive thing.
While the interview process is outright bizarre, and the notion of doing a million coding tests and many rounds of interviews sounds awful, if you're willing to put up with it and don't have many other options it would probably be a good thing to have on your resume.
I work at a big corp and while they didn't put through any bullshit during the interview, I did face a dilemma of small company or big company. I'm glad I went with the big corp, for better or worse the name brand helps, and I hope it will help when I eventually get bored enough to chase bigger ambitions (starting my own /biz/ness)

Anyone here doing affiliate marketing seriously?
I'm specifically interested in paid traffic but this thread is open to everyone running affiliate offers including paid/SEO/SEM. I'm on STM and just setup my first offer on PopAds running a couple ideas from ClickDealer/Glize/Expertmobi. Really excited to dive in!
I'll admit you need money to even remotely get into the paid side of things. But it seems like an incredible industry with amazingly helpful people. Anyone here willing to discuss it please chime in!

How the fuck does this unprofessional shit fly in this modern era? More importantly why do millennials or whatever generation we call it accepts this behavior as the norm and that we should "feel grateful" for even getting the privilege to talk to these cunts?
If employers treated customers or clients the same way they treat potential new hires they would be bankrupt in a day. I mean more and more I ask myself why people should subject themselves to this? Its not like corporations have any loyalty to their employees to begin with, you can be fired for no reason whatsoever in the name of free enterprise and the labor market is still anemic as hell so its not like there's any security to begin with.
I keep think to myself I've already started LLC doing work that's pulling in money and I could make more if I market out. With the exception of 1% special snowflakes like certain Doctors or trades you at best only make 20% of your labor back in profits under any employer.

Robinhood graphs are shit and only show you an average, not true real-time prices. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.

Real brokers, like TDAmeritrade's thinkorswim. Otherwise you should be using tradingview.com, stockcharts.com, finviz.com, or a non-pile-of-shit for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.
