Io is better than all of them. Toyota is an overrated hack and I bet most people who praise her didn't watch a single match and only listen to Meltzer's hype machine.

Io definitely. Even though I like Toyota I consider her to be pretty overrated and I view Io as a more well-rounded version of Manami. Kana is more famous for doing her own thing in joshi and not really caring what others think, which is admirable. But in terms of in-ring accomplishments compared to Io and the legends? Not so much.

That's going a little too far. Overrated, maybe. But she had some great, brutal matches with Akira and Aja. Kana...I don't know that she's had that really big marquee match that you can point to support a claim for her being all-time great. She's had a lot of good work in the joshi promotions but I don't know any (help me out here?) besides maybe against Satomura that was big time. Io, also has had some of her best with Satomura. But she's recently gotten great stuff with Iwatani. And obviously working with Hojo was always good. From pure athletic talent Io might be the best I've ever seen. Two things that gave Kana her edge is her character work and her look, though.
