Yeah, injecting the proper event stuff would let you get Spiky-Ear Pichu and do the Celebi event. Pichu can't be evolved or transferred, but you can still get it just to have it, maybe have it on your in-game team if you start a new run or something.

If you dont have any shiny pokemon at this point it can only be through lack of effort.

I used to have a shiny Exploud that I caught in Emerald, loved that thing. I entered a phase where I wanted to stop autistically learning about Pokémon so I deleted it alongside all my other cherished mons in B2. Still regret it.

I do have a shiny Mime Jr. that I caught in X though, and a shiny Pyroar an anon on here traded me a while back. Pretty happy with these two.

I have a shiny Metapod and a shiny Nidorina on my LeafGreen cart, but since I don't have a Gen 5 game I can't trade it up. So should I get Black or White?

Chansey, because it's eggs are supposed to give those joy. And the worse would be litwick since it steals energy.

Anything with Aromatherapy would be nice. Also imo any mon that's easy enough to care for, just like an irl pet, woild be helpful. It would be even moreso in the Pokémon world because of their innate attachment and empathizing with humans.

i used ariados in my last crystal playthrough so i'd rather not use him again so soon. Ledian i could add to the team.
And odd you'd say that about furret. I tried to use one in a run year ago but it was so shit even early game that i gave up quickly. Maybe i just got really shit ivs or something.
