If you dont have any shiny pokemon at this point it can only be through lack of effort.

I used to have a shiny Exploud that I caught in Emerald, loved that thing. I entered a phase where I wanted to stop autistically learning about Pokémon so I deleted it alongside all my other cherished mons in B2. Still regret it.

I do have a shiny Mime Jr. that I caught in X though, and a shiny Pyroar an anon on here traded me a while back. Pretty happy with these two.

I have a shiny Metapod and a shiny Nidorina on my LeafGreen cart, but since I don't have a Gen 5 game I can't trade it up. So should I get Black or White?

It is still a shiny Pokemon anon, even if it's a mandatory story one.
It may be like someone playing mobile gacha games and then saying they play a lot of video games, but it still technically fits the criteria.

Just pokeradar chain in sinnoh. It takes like an hour to learn and maybe 2 or 3 hours worth of work to get any steel or electric type shiny., it's a little harder to get anything without magnet pull/static boosting your encounter rate

Stuff like this pops up in most of the games. It can happen in gen 2, it can happen with Wally's Ralts, it can happen with the Johto starters in gen 4 (luckily you can pick it,) etc.

I really wish they would stop it from happening until you've obtained your Pokéballs, at least... I'm terrified fir the first 20 mins every game.

There's about 10 Shiny Pokemon (Take a few, maybe) that are actually amazing.

Some of them are decent as alternates (an example would be Blue Pawniard and Bisharp), but not really better than their standard colors.

Some people got mad when their silver/gold Metagross became less impressive when that event was released some time ago (same thing with Gengar), and I the only thing I could think was "Not only is the blue/silver color scheme better, but you basically just admitted that it's only purpose was the increase the size of your e-penis."
