It's still doing well and has a bunch of games on the horizon

Wish Nintendy would unfuck their online multiplayer shit. Also wish Switch had a mic, but it would be useless in the dock. Also wish it supported Bluetooth headphones/headset, but it would interfere with JoyCons (why didn't they use Wi-Fi direct for those? Too much power draw?). First run seems to have some manufacturing issues between Console itself bending and dock issues/screen scratching. Also wish launch game selection was better. But I love mine. Play it every day.

Granted, we don't usually think of Vanity and Jealousy in the deadly sins. though Jealousy is close enough to Envy that I suppose it fits. Vanity is apparently considered one of the Sins historically, but it was folded into Pride at some point.

Rent first if you're unsure, that's always the safest option. Persona 5 is pretty much dialogue heavy, and the first few hours will have the game railroad you for about 1-2 hours until the daily life sim cycle kicks in and you're free to do whatever. It's not a game for everyone although I do know people who don't like turn based JRPGs grow fond of it.

I thought the hallway thing was a meme. It's not a meme. 15+ hours into the game literally every single area in the game is a single line. Every time I looked at the map all I saw was a single path with some turns. Amazing.

I'm playing it right now. It's pretty damn great, the city is beautiful and the story is quite interesting most of the time.

My main concerns are what most people complain about; the batmobile is forced most of the time, which really makes using it feel like a chore. That and most of the side-quests feel pretty tame, plot-wise and gameplay-wise.

How is the ending deep or complicated at all? Bruce fakes his death and removes Batman from the public eye, while still preying on criminals in secret with Scarecrow's fear gas. Gordon becomes mayor and Tim gets married to Barbara while Joker and Strange's force ghosts tenderly smile from afar. Then there's some epilogue DLCs where the status quo remains completely unchanged (Tim's still an idiot, Riddler's still autistic, Penguin still exists only to be bullied by Nightwing, etc).
