N64 was definitely a better console, that's indisputable to anyone with common sense. The PS1, had a hugely superior library though. N64, had about 30 or so absolutely fantastic games, then mostly just trash. PS1 had dozens and dozens of great titles.

If Lord of the Rings was set in a fantasy 18th century world, most rpgs would probably be muskets and tricorn hats. The genre already existed, but LOTR was that influential, and it's probably why we have all this medieval saturation.

Magicka 2 allows you to move while spellcasting, but here's the thing: aiming and moving are both done with mouse. Spellcasting is easier with KB+M. Moving while spellcasting is possible mostly with controller.
