PC gaming was a mistake.
I need to get a new pc due to reason and have a 1k or so budget but I keep procrastinating in looking for a build because there's literally no graphically demanding exclusive I want to play.
I couldn't care less about fps games and multiplayer timesinkers.
I think I'll just get a random 500 bucks pc and save the rest for something else not even vydia related.

Nice asses.
Should I play War Thunder or World of Tanks?
And how's Armored Warfare?
>>386454690
>And how's Armored Warfare?
It's dead Jim.
It depends on what you want after that, War Thunder shat the bed making it a multinational free for all so tank differences no longer matter. Meanwhile WoT just feels really weird to play these days.
>>386454850
That's a shame. People thought it's going to be a better WoT.
WT finally added smoke rounds after literally years of begging. but dat russian bias tho
Hey /v/ i know we all hate mmorps but im looking for a new one, recommand me any mmo you guys playing atm.
just wane try some. Prefer free or trail
Literally every MMO is in a hopeless situation atm.
Wait for a brand new one to appear and play it until it dies, no need to waste time right now.

What tweaks can be done to Winston to reduce the effectiveness of dive comp but still keep him a viable hero?
>>386454610
Buff non dive comp characters like they're doing. Winston himself isn't an unhealthy character, he just exists in a climate where he's really strong. Much like how Tracer received no buffs yet moved from being a niche pick to a top tier one.
>>386454757
I want to see Reaper be a bit stronger, his buff was nice but not enough imo. McCree is also supposed to be anti-dive but can't react to it at all if the divers don't suck, he needs some buff to his kit (other than ult) although his design is the kind that either is mediocre or cancer strong so it's tricky
>game allows you to make your own town/base
>always end up building soulless optimized commie blocks
How do I stop this?
>>386454176
Can't you be optimal in your creativity?
>>386454176
The trick isn't to avoid the commie block, but to find a way to make your commie blocks beautiful.
Where were you when the Call of Duty PC modding community outdid every other modding community?
Also, the CoD Devs are giving out their dev tools and hiring the people in the Modding community, while Bethesda charges money for the fan mods and Rockstar sues people modding their games and does everything in their power to make modding impossible.
A mod for a 3 year old CoD game made by an 18 year old in his spare time with 100% original assets looks better than any AAA console release.

who?
I sent Hedwyn home first. Duder was kind enough to pick me up off the floor and set me up right.
I left the imp, the sap, and the crone. They got along fine in the downside.
>For the third half-year running, Kickstarter revenues for videogames failed to top $10 million. 2017 thus far is a little up on the dismal 2016 figures, but the figures are a long way off the heyday of videogame activity on Kickstarter; less than half the revenue of 2015, and far from the $28 million peak reached in the first half of 2013.
Will you idiots stop letting a few bad experiences ruin Kickstarter? I'm a dev and ran a Kickstarter for my game. I had a $50,000 goal and didn't come close. I had to take a second mortgage on my home to fund my game.
This is fucking bogus. I have a good track record but I have to pay the consequences because some other devs goofed up.

Something similar happened in Rayman 2.
I honestly thought it was the end of the game, and I really hated the game for being so short and having an incomplete story.

>>386453349
Im not sure which of these two bothers me more.
SKY PIRATES
ALPHA STOOOOORMM
It remains one of my favorite (J)RPGs of all. The setting is great, everything is bursting with vibrant color and character, and the mechanics are pretty cool as well. Ship battles made for a welcome change of pace compared to foot battles.
My only concern is where we go from here. It was a well-contained story with a satisfying conclusion, and Vyse has already done everything of significant note that is to be done in the world; shit, he even proved the world was round by crossing the one-though impenetrable Dark Rift.
>>386453164
The only way a sequel could work would have it either be a reboot and retell the same story "the age of exploration is dawning on Arcadia" or have a story set hundreds of years in the future after some apocalypse and "the age of exploration is dawning on Arcadia" again.
ITT games that aged like milk
ASDASD
>>386452598
I agree
now Diablo 2 is basically just a lump of delicious, delicious cheese
Aging good or bad is a valuation of how an item compares to the releases and paradigm changes that have happened since.
In certain aspects Diablo II did age like milk. I'd argue in certain aspects it was bad even upon release.
That being said, other aspects are solid, as they haven't been improved upon since, or might have been gone worse.
For the sake of it, I'll bump your thread with some ideas on what a good Diablo 3 should improve upon:
- Easy modding. Not gonna happen because >blizzard, but think something like Warcraft 3, where new characters, abilities, maps could be created from scratch.
- Revamped attribute system (str, dex, etc). Not sure what the best solution for this would be. I liked Ragnarok Online's 6-attribute system, but it is probably outdated too.
- Have Diablo 1's negative attributes and shines make a combat. Items could have positive and negative attributes, same as shrines, and you'd have to make harder judgement calls whether you wanted it or not.
- Have Diablo 1's permanent debuffs. At least in hardcore mode. Some enemies and shrines would permanently hinder your character. Does it suck? Sure. Want to avoid it? Get good.
- Revamp the potion system. Literally have no idea how to make it better both balanced and not frustrating and engaging.
Honestly want to know some games with decent timeskips. I know most are JRPGs. I'm looking to play these sorts of games.
Dragon Quest V was the most hard hitting for me personally.
>>386452503
what the FUCK
there's a timeskip in the manga?
>>386452824
sadly yes
Also I thought of Terranigma, but I don't know if it counts.
