One of the worst Bond movies. This movie offers nothing but over the top action. It is just so bland. Sure the soundtrack is great but this is definitely Brosnan's worst.
Say what you will about Die Another Day but that had a strong first act.
What makes Casino Royale so good is that it isn't action focused, neither is Spectre.
I find it funny how Brosnan said that Spectre to him felt too long as a Bond film. What the fuck is his problem? That movie to me actually felt kind of short. Movie needed way more Blofeld and it was very fast paced. Spectre to me is one of my favorite Bond films because it blends the perfect amount of humor, seriousness and there is hardly much action.
Like QoS, Tomorrow Never Dies is one of the worst Bond movies for being over the top action and pretty boring when you try to rewatch it.
Pierce Brosnan may have said in an interview that Spectre didn't feel like a Bond movie (so absurd to hear this when it clearly has everything that makes Bond apart from say Blofeld being Bond's long lost brother) whilst Tomorrow Never Dies is CLEARLY not a Bond movie.
GoldenEye of course is Brosnan's best. A shame none of his other movies were as good as that one. Brosnan is right though: his Bond should have been more dark and not cheesy.
You're wrong*fart*

Be honest. How shit would Hollywood be without oven dodgers?

It would definitely be different. Incredibly different.
Different at such a level, it'd be apples and oranges, so saying "shit" or "better" wouldn't be applicable.

What app(s) do you use to listen to podcasts. Lately I've pretty much switched over to Laughable on my phone, but my tablet doesn't support it so I just use sticher or SoundCloud. Open to new suggestions though
Overcast, my man.

yeah not really, it actually works fine. I have 4 paid podcast apps and have recently reverted to using Apple's stock app. Overcast can't even properly connect to my paid subscription podcasts.

I've never had a single issue with that app.

I'm looking for film directors who's films have a distinct visual quality to them like Terry Gilliam or Wes Anderson.
All of these torture scenes were actually removed in the American theatrical release of Brazil, which completely changes the tone of the ending of the movie.
It's not really relevant to the discussion, but it's interesting.
