I'm looking for film directors who's films have a distinct visual quality to them like Terry Gilliam or Wes Anderson.
All of these torture scenes were actually removed in the American theatrical release of Brazil, which completely changes the tone of the ending of the movie.
It's not really relevant to the discussion, but it's interesting.
