We where doing all right with out American figures until all these JAP toy companies came in with their fagmoes and niggerfarts and cheap dot printing garbage. I used to walk into Wal-Mart with a twenty and some change and could grab myself THREE toy biz Marvel Legends and STILL get some Mountain Dew Code Red by the register! And we liked it! You don't need these swappable hands or dot paint, all you need is some finger articulation, and a good ol' paintwash!

Hot Toys? Bah, nothing but expensive dollies for sissys and queers! Back in my day, if you wanted toys from a movie, you got your Kenner aliens and Hasbro Star Wars, with twenty muscles Luke never had, and you played with them with a smile on your face! You don't need yer Star wars figures to be bigger than 3 1/2 inches! What type of TIE Fighter are you gonna stick a 12'' Vader in? One as big as yer grandma! You want movie accuracy? As a minifigure set Mega Bloks have really become a fun system. For building, less so, but they still have occasionally nice looking builds.

Nowadays that's not even that bad. I'd be happy to get Megabloks as a gift. They've really stepped it up, it's not the shitshow it was back in the 90s.

The only one that is inferior is the original Megazord because it was haphazardly adapted from the 2010 line mold. Each additional release has improved greatly, with the Ninja Megazord you pictured being one of the best.

Yeah I bought one Legacy zord a while back and almost instantly sold it. Recently i've been buying the original zords that I had as a kid. They're just as good as I remember if not better. Pic related is my collection

My preferred style is to work from the standard shade you desire, do a fairly broad highlight of a slightly lighter tone (usually the base colour mixed with some white/bone), followed by a highlight on the extremes with an even lighter tone (usually the same as previous but with more white/bone). I then do a black or brown wash (often a mixture of the two), which ties the layers together.

I just found this cute Disney store Merida plush doll at the goodwill today for only $1.50. I've been eyeing her for a while at the Disney store,but would never pay $20. Thought about getting her when Disney Store had their buy one get one for $1, but I passed since they switched their plush material to a cheaper kind thats not as silky, and gets messed up easily when touched. She has no tags, but she looks new!

I also found this new unplayed with $30 Barbie doll with all her cloths for $1. I guess someone bought it for the baby/playset, and didn't want the doll.

Last items in my haul were Frozen dolls. I found Mattel Anna, and Elsa dolls. Their hair was in great shape, but they were totally naked. The upside is that since Mattel gave them molded on tops I only have to find skirts for them.
Also found a Disney Store Anna who was missing her skirt, gloves, boots, and hood, but she still had her cape, and shirt. I re-braided her hair as best I could, and found her a blue skirt.

How do you get your background so white? More lights? I've already got 4 or 5 but it seems if that was adequate I'd have a white background and not shades of gray.

My dude. I'm very amature. I have two lights and like most I think I just play with the contrast/brightness and light/shadows. Those are from my phone not even my cam, just edited via Instagram.

i never played Halo or Destiny, but i got a few of the minifigs.
I would have liked some sort of Wakfu/Dofus line.
Maybe some Final Fantasy line, but mostly for the Black magicians and the FF6 robot armors.
Even some Wildstar stuff (yeah i know, shit is really deadish but i like the cartoony vibe)
