I need ideas for a Beastfolk setting. I'm thinking I'll try to make it Grimbright sort of thing but other then that I've got no ideas for cultures, cities, religions or anything. Pic related is the kind of thing I'm thinking of ripping ideas of though
Does anyone have any to share?
>>52614313
When you say Beastfolk, are you talking just mammals, or are you including other kinds of animals.
If so, maybe have all the weird not-warm-blooded stuff as the kind of alien eldritch creepazoids that drive some of the plot?
so seeing how they're fighting a tiger I'm guessing you're going to do a east vs west king of thing with traditional European animals like wolves, rabbits, and bears against more eastern themed animals like tigers, pandas, and monkeys.
>>52614335
I'm going for more of a "Animals that walk on to legs and are smart" then a "Let's yiff behind the tavern" furry thing. I hadn't thought about that but non-mamales would be considered quite allien, so that's a good idea.
>>52614340
In the game he's actually a Lion. I'd rather not pull on the whole east vs west thing because I rather run more adventure focused games then political.
I got curious and wondered what combination of race, class, feats, etc. make the most OP character?
loli wizard
hence why every pathflounder plays one
hoarse furry
scat sorcerer
My go to is Half-Orc Cross blooded Fire Sorcerer if you wanna do 10d6 damage by level 3. But that is if your DM allows anything published by Paizo.
In which settings are Fae the most violent and dangerous?
Not necessarily violent (at least they wouldn't consider it violence) but extremely dangerous.
>>52610993
True Fae in Changeling: the Lost are extremely dangerous, though some are more violent about it than others.
>>52610993
Our own setting.

Stop shitposting, Ashardalon. Just because you can polymorph into a humanoid who can use a keyboard doesn't mean you get how the internet works.

Kobolds attempting to pleasure their master and overlord?
Do you think Go is still an interesting game after Google AlphaGo won against the strongest human players? Will anybody be motivated to study the game anymore when we have no chance against AI? What do you think about the future of Go?
(Personally I hope Japanese will make a better AI to beat Alpha. :)

THIS.

How about we modify Go?
What if chips have words on it that have to build a poem? And a human refree has to decide if its good or current. If so, it will alter the game.
Pathfinder General /pfg/
Pet Edition
Familiars and pets! Do you like classes with an option of getting a cute, possible supernatural critter helping you? Isn't that just busywork to control two characters at once? Isn't it also lame how every nature-themed class or archetype gets animal companion as if it was the only thing distinguishing them?

Last session, I ate two attacks of opportunity from a dire wolf, knocked down once and tripped again. It sucked and my character began bleeding out, but it allowed an ally to complete the objective.
I was reflecting upon my experience, and was in a similar situation my first adventure with this character. I used a smokestick (for the first time every) and it saved the party's ass from a minotaur.
If I move while in the threatened range of an enemy while in a cloud of smokestick, obscuring mist, or anything else like that, that would not provoke an attack of opportunity, correct? Thus, using a wand of obscuring mist while prone would enable me to stand up, even if I am right next to an enemy, is that correct?
I want to play a cute Nirmathi ranger girl that's secretly in love with a handsome Molthuni officer!

No. I hate features like that with a grand passion.

>>52604489
I actually like the trolls from Warcraft.
>>52604489
I would prove you wrong, but I believe none of /tg/ have even heard of these. Also flying boars are stupid.
Would Gunbuster humanity have solved 40k by now? The only thing I can think of that would even slow them down is the Chaos Gods themselves, and that's just because they don't already have a gun that kills them yet. Every other army or faction is clearly less dangerous than the STMC that buster machines deal with already.
>>52603935
They lose because grimmy-grimdarkness
>>52604020
Can it be more grim than what happens in Gunbuster's own timeline?
> fighting incredibly dangerous space monsters that breed in suns, can crack open planets and come in waves of trillions at a time
> finally make a weapon that can kill some of the bigger ones. Mass produce it
> the war never really ends
> try and bring a conclusive end to things by building a bomb that destroys the middle 70% of the galaxy, getting rid of their densest spawning grounds at the cost of permanently fucking up the galaxy
> it works
> the remaining space monsters still provide a ceaseless and ever escalating war that eventually makes humanity give up, abandon all extrasolar colonies, and build a never-ending self replicating wall of robots to patrol the edge of the solar system, fucking up anything that looks at you funny
> no longer needing such advanced technology, your grasp of the advanced tech that protects you slips away until future generations think the machines protecting you are the very monsters that humanity was in a war with before.
> find worrying hints that the space monsters were never one species, but rather that the inevitable fate of any organic life that lives long enough is to evolve into a form that can survive in space. Essentially, one day humanity will also become space monsters.
> the patrol robots detect such mutations within the solar system and occasionally attack because they see the enemy
>>52603935
Gunbuster humans are the most badass humans in existence.
In 25 years, going from 'first FTL spaceship ever' to 'thousands of multi-kilometer long battleships, super robots with the power to destroy planets, and the ability to compress Jupiter into a giant bomb that creates a black hole'.

Is there a name for this sort of pre-steampunk aesthetic?
>>52601927
If I had to apply names with punk in it it would be dieselpunk with a side of classical est asian style a a smattering of biopunk.
>>52601927
Not really, but the Nausicaa 'look' is derived from the style of a lot of sci-fi euro comics, Moebius' work especially.
>>52601927
Raygun Gothic. Just a bit hard to recognize because the setting itself is not RG in spite of adopting the aesthetic.
I need a sexy weapon for my main villain.
What's a weapon that looks nice and intimidating?
>>52601591
A serrated dildo
>>52601591
What's the setting and/or time period? Cookie-cutter DnD? What's the villain's culture or region of birth? His race/class?
>all the classic bards are using the music to either uplift their teammates, or cast magic via playing the music itself
>tfw I never see self-buffing bards that use their own music to lose themselves to dance
It exists, but it's called Dervish.
>>52601506
That's not really the same, there are no music components involved in the Dervish Dance.
