I want to learn to drive manual, but there's something I don't quite understand yet.

When am I supposed to downshift? I know that I can "hear" when I need to upshift, but I don't know exactly when I should go down a gear.

Am I supposed to be back down to 1st gear once I'm at a complete stop? How quickly should I downshift through gears?

There's no such thing as a "car girl." They do it for attention much like when they go on video chatting outlets and cam whore. Society teaches them to feel inadequate. Eventually, they do become insecure and this insecurity begins to dictate their every movement, action and judgement. Everything they do is for attention. They're constantly trying to compare themselves to men, to prove themselves, to gain recognition and to validate themselves. They post nude pictures because they want you to fawn over them and make them feel unique. Do you remember the woman who made the news for graduating US Army Ranger school? They had the same motivation for doing that.

Do I find it sad? For them. It's rather embarrassing and disappointing that their entire lives are going to be nothing more than a desperate scramble for validation from others. The thought people like this exist and are so insecure depress me.

This issue has been bugging me for a week and I'm stumped.

I have checked the voltage and ampage on the battery, it is good. I have replaced the alternator through warranty for a new one even when the last one tested good and I have cleaned the battery terminals real good. I've checked all fuses and relays and they are good. Checked the starter wires and they are good and tight. SJB is dry as the desert and so is the carpet around it.


What is happening is the computer seems to reset itself when any kind of electrical stuff is being used. Even when I open the doors and the window automatically comes down an inch or so. It doesn't start period now and no power appears to come on EXCEPT the flashing anti theft light right now. Before, no power came on period. Everytime I try to crank the car with the key, it either does nothing at all or I hear that sound the instrument cluster makes when you reset the ECU.

Yesterday, it worked just fine. I drove it for a couple miles with no gremlins and started it up and off a dozen times. Then I park in the garage, close the doors and hit the lock on my key fod and bam, all power goes out. I try disconnecting my battery and instead of my alarm going off when I connect the negative terminal, it clicks nonstop as if it's trying to off but can't.

This all happened last friday when I was parked, driving home from work and out of nowhere the car's computer started resetting itself while the car was driving but the actual motor wasn't turning off. I made it just far enough home in my driveway then the car wouldn't turn back on again until tomorrow when I disconnected the battery and let it sit for a couple hours. The day after, the motor was turning off while the same symptoms were showing though. All dummy lights like ABS, TCS go on, gauges reset, radio resets, lights turn off and on and you get that braking feeling.

How does it feel to know that humans driving cars will be outlawed in the forseeable future (our lifetimes)? Self driving cars are already on the road an they work. They crash LESS than people, that means theyre better and they're only going to improve.

Here's why people wont be able to drive in the future

This saves lives, and also saves a fuckload of money. Do you really wanna pay the hospital bill for some dumbass 18 year old girl snapchatting and driving? How about all of the emergency services, the negative economic effect of the traffic caused, and people that are valuable to the economy and society dying.

No more dumbfucks cutting people off and creating bottlenecks on the highways. No more dumbfucks not going at a green and causing you to miss the light. Speed limits will be higher because a computer has a faster reaction time and can brake faster. This means that not only will banning human driving cars get people places faster, which they like, but it will also cause economic growth, because shit just moves faster.

Have a 1 hour drive, and also have work to do? Good, you can sit back in your self driving car and work away on your laptop. How about reading a book, or watching a movie? Normies are going to prefer this and jump right at the technology, making it more and more popular

Now here's the argument for why you should be allowed to drive a car on public roads

So, /o/. Now that you realize that driving a car on the road will be illegal in your lifetime, how are you going to prepare for this? Me, I'm thinking of moving to a city with a good nearby track.

I read that it causes back fire out of the exhaust, which sounds fucking badass. Does it also offer any actual mechanical advantages like more mpg. If so, how do I remove it?
