sup lads, I'm feeling pretty bummed out... I love driving and love pushing a car to the limit, especially on empty roads and back roads/twisties. but it gets kind of lonely if I keep going alone. At times I feel like I'd have a lot more fun going fast on said roads if I had a friend with his car riding with me... like, at least 2 people, but it's hard to find someone who isn't a complete slob and lazy piece of shit that won't go to places because """""it's too far away"""""
jesus christ, that's why we're in a fucking car, we can go anywhere, at any time and just drive.
I guess what I'm saying is, do you guys also share this feel? wanting to ride with someone instead of just being a lonely driver?
driving fast is fun but it gets depressing knowing that all these tryhard kids saying they're car enthusiasts only go out and sit next to their cars and talk like absolue normie faggots. what's the point of liking cars if you are literally not driving them AT ALL, not to mention drive them fast...

I know this feel so well, OP. It's especially weighing when going on long trips. I used to go one long drives to concerts and stuff, but I stopped because it became very depressing. It just makes me sad to go on a trip by myself. I sink further inside myself, and it becomes agonizing to watch how virtually EVERYONE around me is in a group. No one else is alone. I am the only one. I can't take that sadness anymore, so I don't go to concerts anymore. Virtually everyone else who goes anywhere goes within a group of friends, while I have NEVER, ever gone somewhere with a group of friends. It shows me how far I am from a healthy normal happy life and it makes me want to cry.

On weekends, if I don't have any plans to go out, I drive. Usually on the interstste, a bit in the backroads. If I'm riding with someone i lose the edge and just drive normal so i can talk with them

They're okay.
Peugeot has a couple of real gems (208 GTi, RCZ R) and the rest of their lineup mainly consists of fine-looking perfectly adequate cars.
Citroën ditched the hydropneumatic suspension on everything but the (at this point ancient) C5, and their regular stuff is quite boring Cactus is a neat citycar though.
The DS sub-brand lineup looks funky as hell but gives up function over form, and instead of focusing on maximum comfy like they should, they're going for the "sporty" approach which means there's no real reason to go for them over one of their German competitors.

What's the best full size sports sedan for around $110k? My dad is pretty wealthy and the lease on his 2014 Maserati Quattraporte is about to end. He's leaning towards another Quattraporte but I'm thinking he should get something else (The Maserati was kind of a FCA piece of shit.) So far my favorites are:
S-Class- muh ultimate luxury
CTS-V- not sure about this since my dad isn't a huge car guy; he probably won't take full advantage of how badass it is and might just hate the interior
Audi S8- I know /o/ hates audis but the S8 has fantastic reviews. It does seem to be aging a little bit though.
And possibly the Panamera
What does /o/ think?

In the 80's when the 160 hp V8's were around, there were still plenty of real 70's and earlier muscle cards still on the road

1996 Honda Accord wagon - 5-speed manual
Grandpa car with 109k on the clock - the thing is stupid clean. No maintenance receipts but it was obviously very well taken care of and garaged.
I don't have any reason to believe the t-belt was ever changed so that's the first order of business. Anything else I should look out for?
Are these things pretty alright?
I'm autistic about maintenance so I hope it lasts me a while, I'm not a fan of FWD or Hondas really, but needed a practical commuter shitbox and this seemed like a good buy at $2300. It's been in my driveway for about 20 minutes but it's already really growing on me, it's kinda cute and decently quiet and comfy, A/C works and everything inside is in perfect shape.
Hope the STFU and 3k Civic meme was a good one to fall for

So my boss is an absolute douche. He has been giving me shit for every small thing even if other guys do something similar I'm the one he funnels all his anger into. Seems like he wants to fire me.
So today I got the job to change his oil while he was doing payroll and other paperwork in the upstairs office. He threw his keys at me and told me to get it done now in a tone that sent me over the edge.
He drives a 2016 Sierra 1500.
It takes 8 quarts 0w-20.
I put in 7 quarts of oil and 1 quart of windshield washer fluid. It started up fine. Kind of making a little odd sound but I'm hoping it fucks up his engine over time.
How long you think before his engine seizes?
I'm hoping within a week.
