nearly got a joke.
The best tracks are incredible but the amount of uninteresting ambient tracks got on my nerves. The original tracklisting was tighter (11 tracks, just the planets).
*deletes Andrew Eldritch is Moving Back to Leeds*
*deletes entire album*
>>72978439
that song is pretty comfy though.
>>72978439
Is there really a song with such a title? Lmao
I've been listening to pic related a lot recently, love the music but can't relate to it on any level as someone who's never had a gf.
Who else knows this feel :(
Nope I've had girlfriends and had sex with them you stupid loser
>>72978352
>I've been listening to pic related a lot recently
why the hell would you do that
You must be gay OP
why does he wear the big suit?
He's just a little guy
Was releasing the greatest concert film ever part of your plan?
>tfw 21:05
How are they still so fresh this deep into their discography
>Tfw next DG album will probably be their best and most experimental
>Tfw everyone one mu doesn't like DG anymore now that they're popular so people won't like it anyways
>>72978195
This. This is what an ego does to people
>>72978195
People don't like DG anymore because the fanbase seems to be made entirely of autistic 12 year olds.
>>72978163
It is legitimately impressive. No album they've released has sounded like another one. The only "maybe" in that is TMS to BP, but even in that their maturation is so obvious while listening. I'm hoping we finally get that DG 2.0 we were promised on this album. The Steroids mix was a good step towards that.
Why is this album considered by some to be a classic record? I absolutely love the first 3 songs, there's like a weird fucking mood to the whole thing but what do ya'll think about it?
Does Laughing Stock sound dated at all???
because people think it pioneered a genre called "post rock", a genre loved by fuckboys
>>72978166
does post rock even matter anymore?
>>72978132
The music fits the theme and lyrics very well. I feel very uneasy listening to this occasionally. I wish more post rock tried to copy this instead on LYSF even though I enjoy both.
>music has food related lyric
whats sad about this, heroine is a shit tier drug.
If it weren't for your caption, I would have assumed this was "What a Fool Believes"
>food has music related name
NO
>human population has doubled over the past 50 years
>no significant IQ drop
>there are absolutely no great composers anymore
Why?
People want NEW sounds. The best musicians are the ones pushing boundaries and making great new and interesting sounding music. No composer today is even attempting to make anything new or exciting within the genre of classical because it would be 'blasphemy'.
Why make classical music when you can't even improve on something from 200 years ago ?
>>72978090
That's not the case, you pleb.
People take music for granted. Music is cheap. Music is easy to access. Music is disposable. Music is passive, and doesn't require attention or dedication. Music isn't an event. Music is background noise. Music isn't art. Music is a product.
Back in the classical era, music was art. Music was an event. Music was an escape from your everyday life. Music was something you saw at a theater or a concert hall. Music required your attention. That's why music was so good back then.
What's the best Radiohead song and why is it Jigsaw falling into place?
that's an interesting way to spell Weird Fishes
>>72978038
What a funny way to word Living in a Glasshouse
>>72978038
Weird Fishes is the right answer desu
Its brilliant
Objectively 3rd best Radiohead album
Daydreaming is a top 5 RH song also
first half is flawless
>>72978027
I'm not a huge fan of Tinker Tailor Solider Sailor or The Numbers but Identikit, Present Tense and True Love Waits are all pretty flawless as well
ITT: Prog albums by non-prog bands
Here's a nice gem by Memeplay. Surprisingly good, very space-rocklike.
>>72977885
I'm sorry, X&Y is good, and spacey but not in the slightest prog rock
Another great one even if just for the title track, but Station to Station is arguably the best Bowie album.
>>72977896
>I'm sorry
You're forgiven. Relisten to the album then come back.
Does he have good taste?
liking yeezus invalidates his career as a filmmaker
>>72977623
those all pretty much fit the themes and tones of his films.
lynch makes films for middle class white americans and nobody else
Making a playlist for romantic night driving music.. You know, when its dark, quiet out, no cars, just street lights and a familiar town.

Its like you want to stay a pleb.
how can we finally put an end to this "rap is good" meme?
castrate and quarantine all white liberal males so there isn't a fanbase for it
How can we put an end to this "white people have ever made music that they didn't steal from black culture" meme?
>>72977603
listening to other music usually does the trick
does anyone here like emo?
