ITT: Prog albums by non-prog bands
Here's a nice gem by Memeplay. Surprisingly good, very space-rocklike.

I'm sorry, X&Y is good, and spacey but not in the slightest prog rock
Another great one even if just for the title track, but Station to Station is arguably the best Bowie album.

>I'm sorry
You're forgiven. Relisten to the album then come back.
Karen Elson's new album is very reminiscent of DSoTM, whether you want to consider that prog or not. Its mostly country/folk rock but has complex instrumentation, extended instrumental jam segments that transition the tracks, a great jazzy sax solo and tons of atmospheric synths/cello backing throughout.

Oasis Sucks
id argue this is the closest to prog-dance/electro as we have yet to see, mostly due to give life back to music, within, touch, beyond, fragments of time, and motherboard
X&Y is their only good alum but it also happens to be great, but plebs who could only into Clocks (which is admittedly a very good song) couldn't appreciate it
Also, What If is unironically one of the best songs of the 2000s
