it's actually the song right before this one, only ones who know but yours is really good too
Best Arctic Monkeys album too btw
>>73186575
second favorite on this album after Balaclava, but A Certain Romance is their best and was the best rock song of the '00s
Do you guys ever just get kinda tired of music for a day or two at a time? This happens to me and I don't know why. Usually, I want to listen to new music constantly but sometimes I just don't want to and would rather play vidya or something.
I think you're a faggot
>>73186499
it can be exhausting to listen to a lot of music, as much as it is fun and fulfilling. I just read or watch a dumb action movie when I feel tired out
>>73186499
yeah, usually throw on some background stuff regardless though

>Take an album that already exists
>Add, remove, shorten, lengthen and rearrange songs to make the album a perfect 10/10
I'll start.
Reflektor has a 10/10 hiding in there, somewhere underneath all the fluff. Arcade Fire doesn't want to admit there's fluff in there, but there is. Here's how I'll change it.
>axe We Exist, Normal Person, You Already Know, Joan of Arc, and Awful Sound (Oh Eurydice)
>take Porno down to 4 minutes, change the lyric "little boys with their porno" to something less weird, maybe change the title altogether
>cut Supersymmetry in half.
>move Afterlife to the end
And there we have it. A 10/10 version of Reflektor.
Even with all the fat cut out, it still runs at about 40 minutes, which should be enough to satisfy without overstaying its welcome.
*deletes Yah and Element*
*throws Loyalty, Humble, Love and God in the fucking garbage because 'deletes' would be an understatement to how how terrible they are*
>>73186358
I agree with everything except axing Awful Sound and changing the lyrics on Porno.
We Exist, Normal Person, You Already Know, Joan of Arc could all be on their own album together and it would be great.
Afterlife would have been AF's best closer.
>>73186358
>*deletes 15 minutes of meandering in Cassandra Gemini*
>inserts track "Frances the Mute" from Decoder
Tell me you're listening to right now or else!!

Ornette Coleman - Free Jazz (Part 2)
What do you think about Xxxtentation?
Do you really like his music?
im like bitch get me s chair
ay
can't even climb up the stairs
ay
>>73186090
Fuck off!!
is xxxtennisballs the biggest shill on /mu/ since the early days of dan barrett?
What other artist has lyricism like childish gambino? In rap music my favorite thing is a clever verse/line ("took the g out of your waffle now all you got left is your ego"/"ok it's childish gambino homegirl drop it like the NASDAQ") and i haven't found anyone that has the sheer amount that gambino can put into a song
I know DOOM occasionally pulls through with a line or two
>>73186017
He just took Lil Wayne's style and made it whiny and pseudo intellectual. Listen to Lil Wayne instead
Lil Wayne, Big Sean.

All I hear is, "Nigger, nigger, nigger, nigger, nigger. "
You know it well enough now.

Bump again.
Working on acquiring a series of compilations focusing on /dark/ music in France. When I'm able I'll upload them to Mega or something and post them here.
In the meanwhile,
Contre Jour is a French post-punk revival act that fits nicely with the "Touching Pop" movement I mentioned in the last edition of /dark/.
I prefer their 2010 album, One Night At the Station, over their latest f/l (Passion and Fall).

Two of the members have another project in the same vein called Nü (actually one of them messaged me on Soulseek about it. Wasn't that nice of them?)

What are /mu/'s thoughts on pic related?
Black Parade was a great album.
Fucking fight me.
>>73185963
Looks like faggot shit pre teen girls would listen to.

Bombs?
This is a great thread
I'm sure this thread existed a long time ago, but I'm curious as to whether any opinions have changed.
>>73185740
Nah, still my AOTY.
But I heard snippets of the audio for Tonite by LCD Soundsystem from their VR thingo and desu their new album might take over.
>>73185740
I've never heard such an introspective look into loss as this.
It's fascinating and beautiful.
>>73185740
i still think its a 6/10 considering how forgettable it is and how cloy he made it, even with as legitimate as his loss. Its very overrated because of the context it was made in, but that doesn't make the music worthy of a 10/10
What does /mu/ think of obese musicians with huge fat guts who still perform anyway?
I actually respect them more than svelte or toned musicians. They may look kind of hideous, but there's something grandly poetic about demolishing your body with food and still putting yourself on display. I like obese musicians.
>>73185586
They're fucking gross
Fat is an art and also should not be an indicator of health. The body type fat people have showcase roles and models that can fascinate the audience, be it in performance or the fact of the beauty of it.
